But you ask, 'what's Fripp Island like??' It's a beautiful, pristine private resort sea island set up for quiet, relaxing FAMILY vacations. At Fripp, the beaches are never crowded and you can be certain your kids will have a great time. 3.5 miles long, the entire island is a wildlife sanctuary and has an abundance of birds, deer, dolphins, sea turtles & much more.

Our Tide Water Blue Bonito Drive Bungalow is located in the heart of Fripp Island's Ocean Creek neighborhood, which includes 4 swimming pools, the Cabana Club with the tropical-themed pool complex and Davis Love's Ocean Creek golf course.

Take our 4 person complimentary golf cart to the beach, golf courses, tennis courts, marina and Veranda Beach pool complex, or just cruise around the island. No matter where you go, Ocean Creek has all the fun amenities for you and your family to enjoy during a quiet, relaxing vacation.

The house sits on the 17th fairway of the Ocean Creek Golf Course. At one end of Bonito Drive is the beach, usable at all tides. The Marina is at the other end. We are about halfway between the beach and the Marina. Boat owners, bring your boat and have the Marina launch it. In the evenings, don't forget to relax on the rear master bedroom porch.

Turn on the ceiling fan, grab a seat, freshen up your beverage of choice and watch the sun set over the marsh. This is why you decided to vacation on Fripp Quiet, relaxing low country beauty, all at your fingertips.

The house offers extras like hardwood floors, plantations shutters, a decorative fireplace and a jetted master tub. Don't forget, we provide you with a free golf cart during your stay. It's our small way of thanking you for selecting our bungalow for your vacation.

The large great room leads out onto a rear screened deck, with back yard access, overlooking the golf course, marsh and creek. The lower deck also has an outdoor dining table for 6....This is the perfect spot to enjoy a low country boil and admire all the deer that visit. The top of the golf course....just 40 steps from the house, is also the best spot to watch the sunset. It is our favorite.

The bedrooms are set up as a king master suite with a jacuzzi bathtub, separate shower and TV, a queen bedroom(2nd Master) with a full bath and TV, 2 twin beds in bedroom 3 with TV. One roll away bed (which fits nicely in either upstairs bedroom).

Our family has been visiting the island for more than 18 years. We have fallen in love with Fripp & we are certain you will too!

YOUR RENTAL INCLUDES FREE USE OF (1) four PERSON ELECTRIC GOLF CART(a $325 value) . We provide our guests with extra amenities worth over $320 when compared to renting through the Resort or from Fripp Island Excursions. All stays will have a $215 Cleaning Fee.

Rates do not include Fripp Amenity Cards-They are available for purchase & allow access to all Fripp Club activities. Amenity cards are necessary to gain access to all Fripp restaurants, fitness center, pools, tennis & 2 golf courses.

CANCELLATION POLICY
A full refund is granted for a cancellation 90 days before arrival. A 2/3 refund is given for a cancellation between 60 and 90 days of arrival. A 1/3 refund is granted for cancellations between 30 and 60 days before arrival except during March through September, that is non refundable. There will be no refunds for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival at any time. However, if we can re-rent your rental period, all monies will be refunded less a $100 processing fee.

The property was clean and beautifully decorated. Everything was easy to access, and plenty of instructions and information for everything! Everything worked, and was incredibly welcoming! Even included board games for the entire family and beautiful porches and balconies for evening time wind down! The host checked on us and made sure that we were safe and had no questions! We had a wonderful time at Bonito Bungalow. The home had everything we needed and the space and location was perfect. Very well stocked kitchen (with sharp knives!) and plenty of supplies to get us through our stay (dish tabs, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc.). The home is also centrally located on the island - close to the beach access (less than 5 minutes), pools, stores, playgrounds and restaurants. The home was also decorated beautifully and had a very cozy vibe. The golf cart included was so fun to ride around on and get places easily and they also stock beach towels and beach chairs and boogie boards in the garage. Communication with Barbie and Matt was wonderful! They were very responsive via VRBO messaging or text. They also provided wonderful restaurant recommendations, and lots of other recs on the paperwork they provide, like where to find the best sunset location or where to find shark teeth on the beach. All the info you would need they provide, which we really appreciated. We decided to use the amenity cards (extra fees) because our favorite pool (and the only heated one) is at the Cabana Club and does require amenity cards for entry. Most of the restaurants and pools on the island also require amenity cards as well. But you can easily not purchase those if you don't plan on using the pools and there are plenty of restaurants within 30 minutes of the island worth visiting. Highly recommend staying at Bonito Bungalow!

Wonderful stay on Fripp Island at Bonita Bungalow!

We had another great vacation on Fripp Island and Bonita Bungalow helped make it even better! The location is perfect and only a short golf cart ride to the beach. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The hosts did everything to make sure we were happy with our stay. Bonita Bungalow is definitely a great choice for a Fripp Island vacation!

Fripp first timers!

We just wrapped up our first trip to Fripp for our son’s spring break and I have to say, we are believers! What a hidden gen! Bonito Bungalow was THE PERFECT place for us. Barbie and Matt have done an incredible job of making it a “pretty place” to call home away from home. Comfy furniture & beds, beautiful decor, and THE CUTEST PORCH SITTING you can imagine made our stay so special. We ate every meal at the lovely dining table on the screened porch. It was my favorite part of the home. As hosts, they reached out multiple times prior to and during our stay to make sure we were all set and answer any questions we might have had. Communication with an owner has never been so easy. The house is stocked with a lot of the essentials so we were able to leave our beach towels, chairs, and umbrella at home which made packing so much easier! The golf cart provided was high quality and worked great as well. The entire process was seamless and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Our son is 15 years old and I’d say this island is perfect for that age group if anyone is wondering. We will definitely be back!

Beach Bliss With All The Extras

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming beach bungalow! The decor was thoughtful and cozy, and the layout was surprisingly spacious—plenty of room to relax and unwind without ever feeling cramped. The peaceful vibe throughout the house was exactly what we needed. It didn’t feel like a rental at all—more like staying at a friend’s beautifully cared-for beach home. Everything was spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the soft, plush bath towels were such a nice touch. We also loved having the included golf cart—it made beach trips and exploring the area so easy and fun. Everything about this place felt welcoming, warm, and well loved. And to top it all off, the host was fantastic—super responsive and friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Bonito Bungalow!! The house is so serene, from the color palette and decor, the porches, the comfy furnishings. The location on Fripp couldn’t be beat. A quick trip on the provided golf cart to get to the beach or any other island attractions. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this stay for anyone looking for a quiet, lovely family vacation. The hosts were amazing and quickly answered any questions we had!

Family Spring Break for College kids

The location on Fripp Island was amazing. The area was beautiful and such a nice change from a typical beach spring break. Seeing deer everywhere was so fun and then alligators. The beach was pristine. I am sure this place is even more amazing during the summer when more venues are open. The golf cart was a nice addition. We made many memories in the home we stayed at. What a great location.

Beautiful home on beautiful island

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. The owners are so accommodating and helpful. The location was perfect! The home is decorated so nicely. We felt like we were in a comfortable home with everything you could think of being available. We will be back!

Wonderful stay!

We had the best long weekend spent here! It was a very clean property, had a great layout, was right on the golf course, and had everything we needed! House is fully stocked and has extra supplies included unlike most rentals. The golfcart being provided was a huge bonus, and communication with Barbie and Matt was top notch! This home exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely book here again!
