BE WARNED. We stayed in this house for 2 weeks (5/23-6/6/26) This was after reading the one 4/10 review. We booked late and pretty much all that was available. We are a family of 5 (3 boys) and we have been to Frisco every year. We knew going in to keep our expectations low. We are there to surf and fish on the beach every day. HOWEVER!!!! This place had paint cans and construction material left out in the open. The beds were terrible. Upon arrival, we went looking for the washer and dryer and to our surprise there wasn't one. I went back to check listing and a washer wasn't listed but a dryer was. I'm assuming the clothesline on back porch was that. Kind of deceptive. We are resilient people so we rolled with it. Used Bob's on 12 for laundry. The interior doors would not close. And the bathrooms need new toilet seats. There is a broken hat rack by the door that pretty much sums up the place. It's surprising that Resort Realty would put this property up for rent. We felt like we were camping. Also, forget about fishing on the canal as that area is completely overgrown. We did not complain while there, as we decided to enjoy our time together and enjoy the OBX vibe. Thanks Beachham Cottage we will never forget our OBX 2026 trip. We did put down an advanced deposit on a sound front House next year from another company. Resort Realty needs to look at this rental.
