Clean house, decent value for the price. Would stay here again.
The house was very clean and the furniture was very nice. We booked this house due to it being a single level and easier access for some of the more seasoned members of our group since most houses in the outer banks are multiple levels. The only complaints we had were some poor craftsmanship on the woodwork/trim in the house. It appears to be a pretty old house/doublewide that was remodeled. They supplied adequate linens, blankets etc., but there was only one bottle of hand soap and one roll of paper towels. The shower water pressure and temperature were great!
This is a little house located very close the beach - probably a minute's walk. The house is cute, with lovely decor and a beach vibe. We enjoyed our stay here. Typically, we try to find places somewhat bigger, but we booked late and had limited options. We loved being so close to the beach, the convenience store and a good restaurant. The only complaint I have is the ants. The kept coming relentlessly into the kitchen and one bathroom. I had to put all of the food in ziplocks. Also, the screened deck is lovely, but you can't sit there in the rain as there is no cover, really. Seems like a wasted space! I would definitely stay here again - the house worked, but I am giving it 4 stars because of the ants!
