AC not functional on a warm night

This was the most expensive hotel our family of four stayed in on our 3 week trip through Europe and we thought it would be an exceptional night's stay. The AC was set so it couldn't go below 21 degrees Celsius though. That killed what would have otherwise been a great stay- although super pricey at any level of comfort for us. Couldn't sleep. Shelling out $600 bucks for a night of tossing and turning in the stale air warm ruined it. I mentioned something to the staff the next morning and was heard but they did nothing to make it right.

Great location , good breakfast with big variety. Rooms clean , main problem is with the AC that has a drain pipe under AC case that make a loud noice every 15-20 min. Wakes you up in the night with a loud noise , they sent a technician that said that it is normal… Won’t sleep there again

Our train did not stop and we were forced to go to Munich. Getting back would have taken 3+ hours and I had 2 exhausted kids who had been on the trains for 8 hours. Hotel refused to refund me even a portion. Booking non-refundable is on me, but even a small refund from a fully booked hotel would have been appreciated. Ultimately they are not obligated to do me a favor but I’m highly disappointed they wouldn’t budge even a little.

The hotel is a perfect location to the shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and the room was large, bright, and very clean. I stayed in the hotel with my wife and two children so the large room was perfect. The breakfast was awesome. There were many options to choose from and was perfect for the four us.
