The spectacular views and the blue sea around the structure, make it a unique place in its characteristics. The villa is spacious and comfortable to accommodate 6 people. With a separate entrance through 60 stair-steps, the house consists of 2 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom, a large kitchen, living room and two bathrooms (equipped with toilet, sink, shower and bath tub, washing machine). We enjoyed our stay. Great location and wonderful hosts!
We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean, very well equipped and met our needs. The views from the balcony were breathtaking! Luigi and Lidia were very welcoming and available for any questions during our stay.
We had an incredible stay in Amalfi. The villa was perfect for location, views, cleanliness and A/C in every room. What made the trip so special was Sebastiano who drove us all throughout our trip. His complete professionalism, knowledge of Amalfi, contacts/friends at restaurants, safe driving and boat tour/restaurant recommendations were what made our trip so special. Sebastiano also took care of our day excursions to Ravello and Positano which were incredible. His drop off and pick up locations were perfect and helped us truly enjoy the day! Our Family canât thank them enough and highly recommend staying here for a unforgettable Amalfi trip!
I stayed for 21 days. The first week was me and my girlfriend, the second was two of my sons and 5 of their friends, and the last was just me. It was everything I had hoped for. The. Iâll is just as pictured. There are neighbors above and below but it is plenty private. There is a great little market and fantastic restaurant that is a 15 minute walk or a short drive. Furore is a very small town so I would highly recommend renting a car. With a car you have easy access to all the towns in the coast below and to Ageila which is up hill and absolutely worth the visit. You can also easily access Pimonte and Pompei which are also worth the visit. The bus is also easy to use and stops just down the road from the house. Easy access to Amalfi which is a great launch point for ferry to Positano, the islands or a bus to Praiano, or MÄori. I had read some reviews complaining of the stairs to the Villa. It is three flights below the road. If you think the stairs to the Villa are an inconvenience then the Amalfi Coast is not the place for you. The hosts Ciro and Maria were extremely helpful and responsive. It was truly a spectacular experience
Place was clean and had everything we needed.
One thing - be prepared to climb a significant number of stairs unless you plan to drive everywhere. I enjoyed the workout but others may not.
The location is difficult to get to but once there the accommodations were very nice and the view was spectacular â€ïž For people with walking problems itâs very difficult to get to because there 4 separate sets of concrete steps that you must negotiate all down hill! If you have anything more than a hand carry you will need help especially leaving which is all uphillđłLuckily, the fellow who met us on arrival, Josepi, was a savior and took our luggage to the apartment and agreed to and did show up punctually on our departure to pack our luggage up the 4 sets of stairs to our vehiclesđł Prepare to give Josepi a large tip for this service if your not capable yourselfđ€ Before I booked this accommodation I asked and was told there were only 25 steps, which was totally untrue! There are more like 75 steps to climb this very steeply located property. But aside from that, the Villa was beautifully maintained and the view was absolutely spectacular from all the balconiesâ€ïž The bedrooms of which there are 3, and bathrooms which there are 2, were very nice and included monogramed towels which was a very nice touch! The electric stove top was very difficult to get to work and required Josepi to come back to get to work because of some safety issues that werenât explained on check in! The appliances are very sparse and only a very small Mr Coffee machine with no supplied filters. So be prepared to bring everything youâd need for breakfast! Also, thereâs very few restaurants nearđł
Overall we enjoyed our stay. Property is as described and pictured. Views are beautiful. The villa is roomy with lots of outdoor spaces. The owner was very responsive. The location is not especially convenient, requiring car, taxi, or bus to get anywhere safely. (The roads are narrow and are not safe for pedestrians.) We did make one walking exception for a very good restaurant called Bacco. It was a two minute walk from the villa and was recommended by our owner. Be aware that the villa kitchen is not stocked with anything (outside of pots, pans, utensils, dishes), including coffee and paper towel. You will have to bring your own. Master shower could use a good scrubbing, otherwise everything was clean. Lastly, there are 80 stair-steps from the villa door up to the street.
The villa is just as described. The space is even larger than it looks, giving us plenty of room to spread out. The view is amazing. Be prepared to wait for the bus for awhile if you travel in summer.
Everything that I selected as 5 stars speaks for itself. The only comment I would make about the listing is the fact there are 79 steps to get to it. Those with mobility issues will find it challenging.
We had a great stay at this villa. The team helped coordinate our arrival with our driver from Naples, recommended local favorites, and answered all our questions. There is an easy to reach bus stop within sight of the villa that travels into Amalfi. We also hiked down the long stair trail to the fjord and caught a different shuttle to Positano. This stair walk took longer than expected (30-45 mins) so would recommend the bus or Path of the Gods instead when we come back. The washer and dryer were helpful to freshen up in the middle of our tour across 4 regions of Italy. Grazie!
This property is in a stunning location, and the house itself is very nice with a huge kitchen and large bedrooms and baths. I do suggest that if youâre going to need groceries while there, get them on the way so you donât have to go back out⊠those roads are treacherous! Also, if you have a problem with climbing steps, I would avoid booking here. There are over 85 steps to climb and with luggage itâs quite difficult.
Beautiful views from the many balconies. Very clean and comfortable. Rosa was a wonderful host. Very quick to respond to any questions we had. Busses very crowded and walking far is not practical so a car is suggested.
Wonderful rental property high on the hillside overlooking Amalfi coast. Both the rental owner and local person who met us for check-in were helpful and always available to respond. (expect to use WhatsApp in Italy as it seems to be their go-to text App). This 3 bedroom, 2 bath, rental is on one level of a larger property, that has shared gardens and a roof top patio. Stunning views. Within 10 minute drive of the trailhead of Path of the Gods and 200m (3 minute walk) from a very nice hillside vineyard. The property had a well equipped kitchen with gas stove and smart TV. We were a family of 4 (2 adult children), and the space was perfect for us. We were there in February, and there was a cold spell (+5C in day and -2C at night), so this typically Summer rental was a bit cool, but other than that, it was excellent. We can highly recommend.
