Newly renovated 2-bedroom 2 bath loft on Lake Galena. This walk up 2nd floor amazing condo boasts 2 story living room with a screened porch and deck to refresh and relax guests while overlooking Lake Galena. With 1 king bed and 1 queen bed, you'll have plenty of space to stretch out and get a good night's sleep. The loft has two additional twin beds. The newly remodeled fully- stocked kitchen, fireplace, washing machine and dryer, AC, a hair dryer, and iron. The 2 bathrooms are well-equipped with all the essentials, . Experience what Galena has to offer including free access to the Owners Club with indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, fitness room, gymnasium, arcade with pool tables, business center and cafe'. Plus free use of the condos private pool in the summer months. Additionally, we have miles of hiking trails, walking distance to the Stonedrift Spa, a playground and a restaurant. Cap it off with 4 golf courses, a marina with boat rentals and historic Galena for plenty of vacation options.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo very much. The size was good for 4 adults and we enjoyed the cozy sectional and chair in the living room for our downtime. We did have all the expected amenities for a comfortable stay and the air conidtioning worked quickly to cool down a two story unit comfortably. The wooded treeline is pretty and provides nice shade onto the unit but if you are hoping for a true "lake view" it is obstructed by the trees. You would need to go and walk the lake for better overall views. Some minor issues with a comforter that had a burn in it and a bit unsighlty (but communicated to us in advance by Dan). The second story ceiling fan was not working but thankfully a room fan was available to keep air circulating well (Dan was working to schedule a repair of the fan too). Definitely communicate in advance if you need to know what on site kitchen supplies they'd have such as things to line baking sheets etc. Note though there is a piggly wiggly only a few miles away to shop for groceries and supplies you may need. The shower supplies are a 5 in 1 so if you have particular soap/shampoo/conditioner preferences brings your own. Overall a great experience and would do it again.

The indoor pool was great for the kids on a cold winter day. The condo is very nice and Dan was a great host with good communication. The clubhouse also has a nice game room with ping pong, fooseball, and pool tables that the kids enjoyed.

Great location relative to Galena. Condo is spacious and well kept and access to all of the amenities is nice; parking was close to the condo so loading / unloading was easy. There are no "real" views of the lake, as the view is blocked by the trees off the back patio.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo in Galena! The location was excellent -- there was a pool very nearby and a second pool at the Owner's Club. We actually never made it to the Owner's Club because the pool near Lake Links was perfect for our stay. We were close to all of the Galena area atractions and a short 40 minute drive to Dubuque. The unit itself was extremely clean and well equipped with all the essentials we needed--towels, clean linens, extra blankets and Keurig coffee! My only comment is that the twin beds in the loft area are not actually beds, but chairs that convert to a bed, but they are uneven when laid flat, so if you are planning to have adults sleep on these, they are not comfortable -- we had our teenagers sleep on the chairs and they even complained about back aches, but truly that was the only downside. Everything else was perfect for the last summer hurrah! Dan was friendly and communicative. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful stay

This was a peaceful location, well cared for home and had everything we needed. Was close to the resort for dinner and drinks, walking trails, the lake and a restful pool. We loved it and would definitely come back. It is about a 15 minute drive to downtown Galena and we did have some communication that went unanswered but overall was very enjoyable and would go back.
