The Cottage on Lake Galena

( Also please see our sister property VRBO listing # 3731275 ). Cozy, romantic lakeside cottage with unmatched, pristine lake view and privacy in the heart of the resort. Loaded with amenities; fireplace in each bedroom and in living room, hot tub in very private setting on lake, stereo throughout, TV/internet, fully equipped kitchen, authentic handcrafted log /stone construction. Available as a 1 or 2 bedroom occupancy accommodating 1 to 4 adult persons. Maximum of 2 persons per bedroom. Average base rate of $290 per night for a 1 bedroom (1-2 person). An additional $50 per night per person base rate applies for the second bedroom with bathroom . All main spaces of this stand alone cottage is available to our guests whether it's a 1 or 2 bedroom rental. We simply close off the unused second bedroom/bath if rented as a 1 bedroom. Main level bedroom has a queen sized bed and upper level master suite has a king sized bed. One bedroom occupancy includes upper master suite unless otherwise requested for main level.Low season non-weekend dates negotiable. Contact owner

This was our second stay at the cottage and will not be our last. Between the location and the house itself it’s hard to beat for a quick getaway. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Fireplaces in every room and a nice hot tub.

Long weekend getaway for husband and I. Beautiful cabin with awesome lake views, private setting, and we used the hot tub often. The place was much bigger than we anticipated, had everything we needed to cook meals, and the fireplace in the living room and bedroom were so nice and cozy.

Cottage was amazing. Unfortunately the hot tube didn’t work. I would recommend going and experiencing the cottage. I plan to go back next summer beings our family enjoys to golf. The owner was very friendly and easy to get along with. He answered any questions I had. I would highly recommend.

The Cottage was beautiful with an outstanding view of Lake Galena. The kitchen is well stocked with all the supplies we needed and the Wi-Fi access was excellent since we had several business zoom meetings during our stay. Michael (owner) is awesome with information coming in plenty of time. Overall I would highly recommend this cottage if you are staying near Galena.

This gorgeous property tucked away on Lake Geneva was a wonderful place to stay with friends. The view of the lake and the cottage itself were perfect. The cottage is spacious, comfortable, and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed along with easy to use appliances. We enjoyed the hot tub and appreciated having the beach towels. The back porch overlooking the lake is a great spot for morning coffee, conversation and we even lucked out with a firework show one night! Check-in/out were seamless. Honorable mention: Mike quickly alerted me that I had left my purse on the porch when we left and was kind enough to keep it secure for me until I could retrieve it. Greatly appreciated! We all agreed that we would all stay at the cottage again. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be in the Fall.

Gorgeous View, Beautiful Cottage, Lovely Neighborhood, Close to Galena

I rented this cottage for me and my Mom for an important anniversary, and it did not disappoint! Relaxing on the deck and taking in the view was a highlight. The house was incredibly clean, had everything we needed and felt luxurious. I enjoyed the trails around the neighborhood, and we took advantage of the Stonedrift Spa. It's about 10 minutes into Galena, and we spent time enjoying the shops and eating wonderful food. We almost had a hot air balloon ride, which was also inside the neighborhood, but the weather didn't cooperate. I highly recommend the cottage and we will definitely be back. Oh, and Mike was great to work with and super responsive!

Friends Getaway

Celebrated a 40th Wedding Anniversary and a retirement on our weekend. Enjoyed sitting on the back porch, loving the view and listening to the birds sing. Very relaxing. The house was a perfect size for the 4 of us!! Enjoyed very much!!
