We enjoyed our stay at this location. Overall the place is nice.There were only a couple things that could have made the visit more enjoyable. 1. Replace the toliets. They are extremely low and difficult to use 2. Louge chairs on the balcony. Those chairs are very hard and not comfortable while outside.3. The grille is old and rusted. We weren't able to cook outside as it was not clean.4. In primary bedroom, the bench is old and stained. Either have it deep cleaned or have it recovered.5. Couch in living area is lumpy.The place is quite outDated! And the decor is definitely outdated.Would I stay at this location again? I guess so, if I had to.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean, well-stocked, and exactly as described in the listing.The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and the living spaces were comfortable and inviting. The beach was just steps away, which made it super easy to come and go throughout the day. There were also plenty of beach chairs, towels, and even toys for the kids. Extemely thankful for the high chair and the safety gate!Check-in was smooth, and the host was friendly and responsive to any questions we had. We truly felt at home during our stay.

We usually stay at the Courtyard by Marriott and needed more space for my adult son, his wife and my grandson. Docs Quarters was a perfect choice. I love the cleanliness and all the amenities. Emails and notes around the home was a great touch if we had questions.

Great Weekend Stay

We had family in from Germany and drove out to Galveston for a quick beach trip. They loved the easy quick walking access to the beach. We had enough bedrooms and space for everyone. It was such a nice home. Although we are out, we could have just stayed in and walked to the beach throughout our entire time. The condo was nice and quiet. We had everything we needed. It’s well worth the price!

We had a great family trip. The house was super cozy and the layout was perfect. There were a couple issues with damage to the home when we checked in from the storm the previous week but Yolanda was easy to reach and communication was great. Overall it was a great trip.

Weekend Beach Getaway

We enjoyed thoroughly the trip down to Galveston, and as usual enjoyed the sights and the food. The house was amazing, and afforded an easy walk down to the beach. It was very quiet, which we appreciated, and is in a smaller neighborhood which also helps present a cozy environment. The house came with all the amenities needed to cook if you wanted to, all appliances worked, AC was just fine with fans running. We had stayed in this neighborhood previously (not this house) and will definitely be back. The host was very much available if needed. We highly recommend this house if you're coming to Galveston with family.

Everything is excellent. The furnishings and appliances are high quality, and the decor is tasteful. However, the AC vents make a hellacious noise when the unit runs, which is noticeable especially in the bedrooms at night, when the surroundings are otherwise quiet. Other than that, the stay has been very pleasant and memorable. Will come back!

Close to the Beach

Great home two rows back from the beach. We enjoyed being away from the Seawall crowd and had the beach to ourselves for most of our stay. Home was lovely and had just the right amount of space for our group. Communication with the owner, Yolanda, was outstanding. We were traveling following the hurricane and she kept us informed every step of the way regarding power restoration, condition of the property, etc. Check in was easy, property was as promised, etc. Highly recommend booking Docs Quarters!
