So spacious and such a welcoming host. Clear communication and all questions answered promptly. Canât wait to stay again in our next trip to Galveston.
While the property was surface clean, the walls and ceiling were nasty. Toilet set on first floor missing a screw. Neighbors dog pooped right by back door everyday. The mosquitoes are horrible.
Please save your money and donât waste it like I did. We arrived to a yard with piles of bags of dog feces bagged up near the trash can but laying in the yard, a house that was dirty ( you can see the filth on the base boards and walls). The pictures look a lot more clean and well kept than what the property is. My number 1 complaints was the roachesâŠ. Completely uncalled for and gross. They were mostly in the downstairs kitchen and bathroom. More of them come out when if you cook and they definitely get in the shower with you. Then we go out to the pool. The steps were broken and pool was dirty ( sand and bugs) I asked if there was a pool vacuum so that I could clean it and never got an answer on that part. There was a net and I cleaned it the best I could. There are no lights out by the pool or fire pit area. It is extremely dark and you canât see. They had a dollar tree light to flip a switch on the side of pool but It had came off and didnât work anyways. I was hoping the light above the garage door would work but it doesnât either. I reported roaches the night we got there and they sent a guy out the next morning. Didnât make much difference. It has apparently been an ongoing issue with this property. The back door knob is not very secureâŠ. The list could go on and on but the major issue is with the ROACHES. I really wish I could add more than 8 pictures. I would never recommend this property to anyone.
My stay was horrible there was roaches everywhere they was in the fridge in the sofa The drain in the down stairs bathroom was horrible and there was no tvs in the rooms only the living room we reach out and the only repose we would get is they are trying to get a hold of the owners. We still have not heard anything back
We didnt want to leave! My son and I pretty much stayed on the 2nd story, and it was so comfortable. ( was just he and I) The childrens loft was adorable, if you have littles. We had everything we needed. The list that is provided on the things we may bring was helpful. (Such as aluminum foil for the oven)The neighborhood was peaceful..My son and I had a great time!
it was just as imagined on the pictures, owner very frequently texted updating and all sorts of stuff. my only complaint was the upstairs bathroom but it wasnât a surprise going into it since i had already seen the pictures and reviews. i will say that the bathroom sink did not work for some odd reason we tried everything to make it work but it didnât. other than that the place was very nice and maybe only a couple minutes away from the beach everything was pretty nearby.
We had a great stay. I let the property managers know that the cleaning could have been stepped up a bit. The place was older but we had a great stay. There was a bit of stale smell upon our entry however after the air was moving around it dissipated. The beds were a little creaky but they were comfy and the house had plenty of room for our larger group. Great location being close to everything but far enough that it was plenty quiet. Also loved that they accepted pets. Wished the fencing went all the way around the home for pets to roam freely but there was plenty of grass for our furry family so no complaints here. The pool was awesome and a great feature to have, even was nice and cool after some of the hottest days of summer. Overall we would definitely stay here again and are grateful they hosted us and our family.
Itâs an older house and definitely has its quirks but we enjoyed it overall. The only real issue was the parking. Itâs a long narrow drive and if you have multiple cars you have to move around and switch out. The beachbox people were really helpful.
The property had bugs, we had to get bug spray. There was a broken window on the door upstairs. We had to put a towel in the window to keep the flies out. There was stains on the couch upstairs. The couch downstairs had a molded smell. We had to spray lysol on the couch then spray freebreeze. The bedroom downstairs had no place to put your clothes because no drawers or hanging rack. The beds downstairs was very very uncomfortable. The bathroom downstairs had mold in the ceiling. One of the stool downstairs was broken and the rest was wobbly. Contact the renter company still waiting to see if they going to compensate us. It was a horrible experience I will not recommend this place
The house was ok. We only stayed 1 night. My only complaint was that the bathroom on the third floor was not useful. First of all it doesnât have a door of any kind. 2nd the toilet is raised up so for a man to stand and pee he would have to be 7 feet tall but then he would not be able to stand in there because of the low ceiling. The ceiling in the shower was also very low. So itâs more like a 3 bedroom 2 bath house
We had a blast and enjoyed our stay we only wish we had the pool heated laugh out loud and a table we could sit at and eat but other than that my sisters and i will always enjoy staying at this wonderful house we have no serious complants just wants and we thank yall for letting us stay we will be back again thank you
