You won't want to leave this house, but you must wander out to enjoy all of the amenities offered by Pointe West! If you want access to the beach club and amenities, there is a one time $25/person for access during you stay. This is payable when you register at the beach club when you arrive. At the beach club, you have a large infinity edge pool with an inviting bubbly hot tub, with an 8,000 square foot Gulf-front beach club including a children's pool and play area, 20,000 square feet of sundecks, fitness center, all while watching the breathtaking sunsets. On the bay-side you have the Sunset Pool Club with a pool, lazy river, and hot tub, plus lagoons for fishing, crabbing, kayaking, and canoeing. The Beach club also rents bicycles and pool-side cabanas. There is also a seasonal restaurant at the Beach Club that is typically open from Spring Break to Labor Day weekend. The beach closed to most vehicle traffic, making it very family friendly. The house is also child friendly with a pack-n-play, high chair and 2 stairway gates for your use. There is also a charcoal grille, beach chairs and a cart to roll it over the dune walkover to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked with the equipment you need to cook a fabulous meal.

You will feel the beautiful seclusion at this ocean get-away, but you are only 30 minutes away from the Galveston Seawall including attractions such as:

Moody Gardens (Aquarium, rainforest pyramid, adventure pyramid for kids, golf course, IMAX movies and much more), Schlitterbahn water park, The new Pleasure Pier attraction and Many great restaurants and shops

Only 10 minutes away from Jamaica Beach, which offers gas, grocery, some shops and a couple restaurants. Horseback riding on the beach or gulf side is available for an additional fee in Jamaica Beach.

A little further into Galveston, and there are many historic attractions such as the Moody Mansion, The Strand (shopping and restaurants), the historic Opera house and more. Also Galveston offers a wealth of some of the best fishing charters in the Gulf for the sports oriented.
