At this luxury Gulf-front property, which sits right across from Galveston's famous sandy beach, you'll be treated to wonderful facilities that include a wait-staff attended pool with a swim-up bar, a hot tub, cabanas with pool-side dining, and so much more.

Begin each morning with a workout in the resort fitness center, a game of tennis with your loved ones, or a long walk on the beach only 100 yards away. Return to unwind in the comfort of central AC, kick back with a good book on your Gulf-facing balcony, and enjoy the gas grills, lounge chairs, and firepits placed throughout the resort grounds. If you're in the mood for a snack, your kitchenette is equipped with a sink, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster (no stove, oven, or dishwasher).

Your vacation home is located on the sixth floor of the San Luis Resort, a luxe Gulf-front property located right on Galveston's seawall. You'll be just a few steps from the resort spa, where you can pamper yourself with a facial, a massage, or a pedicure, as well as on-site restaurants that include Grotto Ristorante, The Steakhouse, and Blakes Bistro. If you choose to explore beyond the resort grounds, you can easily spend a day at Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn Waterpark (three miles west), take a two-mile stroll up to the Historic Pleasure Pier, or walk back through time in Galveston's beautiful Strand and East End Historic Districts.

Better staying at the hotel itself

The instructions were very vague and confusing and my friend and I can usually figure out everything. A man that worked there helped us and said it happens all the time. The space is half the size of their hotel rooms. Nothing condo about it. At least the hotel rooms have some coffee and ice machines. Neither were available. We found a dirty bucket and put a trash bag in and went to the hotel side for ice. The hotel people were super nice and have regular complaints similar to ours. And we never complain! We tried to reach the property. It’s a management company so mostly automated. When the fridge wasn’t working they said it takes 24 hours to cool. Each question had a different person with no idea of previous questions. We finally stopped asking. Of course the San Luis part was amazing! This room has less than the hotel room and should not be called a condo. Pictures are deceiving. We will be back to the hotel but not to this property. Save money and just stay at the hotel. Much much easier! Wanted to be honest!

The place smelled clean. You can tell that it was just cleaned. The view was very nice and all the hotel amenities are a plus. The water took time to get warm but we knew ahead of time. It was not an issue for us. Plenty of hot water. The only item is the pillows smelled dirty. They need replaced.

Amazing stay

Condo just as pictured. Clean and we loved the access to the pool at the hotel! It was really warm and my children loved swimming. Check in and out easy and a designated parking space. I felt very safe staying here with my kids! Will most definitely return!

We had a great time. The condo is very small. For a couple it is ok. Nice view, you have access to all of the San Luis Hotel Ammenitites which makes it a great expereince. We did have a problem with the combination lock. We called Vacasa on Sunday and they did assist us right away.

A little issue of trying to remember the code to get into the unit but feel that we were very secure. Not any directions for the tv. Bed was great, need more pillows. Worn and Dingy

The view is great! At checkin we weren’t given the access code prior to our stay. The place smelt like smoke. The place looked unkept. The bedding was a very thin, spotted and no extra blanket or pillows were offered (we had 2). The towel rack was barely hanging on the wall. I think there was once a wall mirror but it was removed without removing the wall hardware. I struggled with the shower to get water flowing. Bring your own coffee, there is none. I highly recommend booking at the hotel. This place needs a renovation and a good cleaning. It is not what I expected booking at a high-end hotel.

Beautiful View!

The resort is beautiful! The view was amazing! The room was nice and clean. The hot water took a very long time to warm up, but that was the only negative. I feel it was a great value!
