The Space:
Get ready for your getaway at Sea Pointe! Courtesy of Best of the West, you'll enjoy unparalleled views of the gulf at this beautifully appointed, family-friendly 2/2 condo with everything you need for a wonderful stay at the beach. Located on the 1st floor, close to the Beach Club and an easy walk to the beach! A brand new elevator was installed Dec 2023.

Enjoy the modern fully furnished condo, with 50" TV in living area, WIFI & cable, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, bath and pool towels provided, and all beds are dressed for your party. The Master bedroom has king size bed with a 37" TV and ensuite bathroom and 2nd bedroom has two bunk beds with a 37" TV. Sea Pointe is perfect for any type of getaway!

There are plenty of items for your little ones. This unit comes equipped with a pack-n-play, booster seat, baby bath tub, and toddler plates and utensils.

FOR FAMILIES & LARGE GROUPS - If you need more than one condo in order to accommodate your group, this is a PERFECT SPOT! Best of the West has two more condos available in this same building, Beach Potato, VRBO#800892, 3/3 right next door, and Salty Air Retreat, VRBO#1672994, 2/2 on the 3rd floor. 

When you stay in a Best of the West home, all you need to bring is your clothes, sunscreen, food, and you! Best of the West provides basic consumables needed for your entire stay; paper towels, toilet paper,  large & small trash bags, dish soap, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, hand soap, coffee, creamer, sweetener, coffee filters, first aid kit, and to make things easier, a luggage cart to help you pack and unpack from your car.

Guest Access:
You will be provided the door code, wifi code, and all other check-in information 2 days before check-in.

The Neighborhood:
Pointe West is an exclusive resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island. The beaches are clean and groomed regularly and they are by far the best on the island. The main clubhouse has a beautiful infinity-edge pool, hot tub, kid’s pool, cabanas, grills, gift shop, workout facility with lockers, and a game room. 

***AMENITIES FEE: Please note that you will need to obtain a wristband and access code from the Pointe West Beach Club to take full advantage of the community facilities (pools, gym, clubhouse game room, Basketball, and Pickleball courts). They charge $25 per guest 4 years old and older and are good for the entire length of your stay. This fee will be paid directly to the Beach Club upon registration.

(You will receive an email from the Pointe West POA to prepay the resort fee. The primary guest on your reservation will need to show an ID at the Beach Club Office to pick up the wristbands and parking passes.) *** Fees increased to $25/per person in 2023. The fee is not mandatory. If you do not plan to use the pools and other amenities during your stay, you do not have to purchase the wristbands, but you will need to get parking passes from the Beach Club. You can get free wristbands for use of the restaurant and bar.

The Pointe West Beach Club is a separate entity from Best of the West Galveston. Best of the West Galveston cannot guarantee the availability of any of the Beach Club’s amenities. Check the Pointe West Beach Club’s website for details.***

Getting Around:
You are only approximately 30 minutes from downtown Galveston, Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, the new Pleasure Pier, and all the other great attractions of Galveston.

Other Things to Note:
**Elevators, WIFI, and cable can be unreliable on West Galveston Island. We apologize, but Best of the West can not guarantee these amenities will be working during your stay at Pointe West and we are unable to offer refunds for disruption of these services.**

Beautiful condo!

Condo is clean, close enough to the beach with just a short trip down the walk. Beds were comfy & great communication. Elevator went out the day we arrived which was difficult for luggage but those things cannot be helped sometimes. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

60th birthday beach fun with family.

My husband and I rented this unit with my mother and sister. My daughter, son in law and 2 young grands stayed in the building next door. Lots of beach, pool and lazy river time was enjoyed. The food at the restaurant was better than expected. The best part was James the property manager who was very friendly and helpful allowing for early check in and later check out times.

Great condo

We loved the location of Pointe West. The beach wasn’t too crowded and the condo was equidistant between 2 boardwalks for access to the beach. We liked being on the bottom floor because we only had one flight of stairs to walk, but the people walking in the unit above us was pretty loud. I’d rather deal with that then walking up to the 3rd floor though. Communication was great w/ a binder of info we needed to know. The property manager responded quickly to questions and fixed a minor issue we had. I didn’t like that the community had raised the wristband price to $25 per person after we booked. We only ended up going to the pool once and unfortunately the restaurant was still closed. There were plenty of meal options within about 15 minutes, which we didn’t mind. The condo was well stocked and we appreciated the provided towels. The balcony is large and we enjoyed the view and breeze in the afternoons and evenings. We also enjoyed the provided games. We didn’t have any tv/WiFi/elevator issues. The covered and reserved parking spot was great. We had a great time and would stay here again.

This condo was a great location with easy access to the beach. It had all the amenities we needed. The only thing I would mention is instructions for the living room tv. We were technically challenged & couldn’t figure out how to get to live tv channels but no issues with the bedroom tvs. Thanks!

We have stayed at Point West Resort many times before and always have a good time. We were looking forward to food and beverage service by the pool and no where was it stated it was closed for renovation on VRBO site. Our condo had a nice view but a few suggestions: comfortable chairs in sitting area. Round chairs are awful, need new knives or have them sharpened. They don’t cut anything. Master bed is super soft.

Loved being on the quieter, less crowded end of the island. Perfectly located unit close to the beach club, close to the beach entrance with unobstructed views of the gulf. Really nice unit had everything we that we needed and owner was very responsive to minor question that I needed to text to him on a Saturday morning. We always stay at Pointe West when visiting Galveston because of the great amenities. We have two toddlers and this condo was perfect for our family of 4. If you have little ones, this place is for you! You won't need to pack much as saw a pack n play and a high chair in one of the closets. They also had a wagon with beach toys. As well as plates, cups, utensils and bibs for your little ones. Great quality too! Save room and ask what they have for your littles. When a place caters to our children and helps make these tired parents lives easier, you can guarantee we will be back!
