WELCOME TO GALVESTON:) Our Vila Cottage is a newly build home just a 5 minute walk to the Seawall and one of the best beaches in Galveston. It is located in a very nice neighborhood next to Galveston College. The home is surrounded with many famous restaurants such as Gaido's, bars, attractions sightseeing and more. You don't have to drive, you can walk everywhere!!! You will be very close to Pleasure Pier and The Strand. When you enter the cottage, you'll immediately feel at home and relaxed. If you are looking for artistic and positive place where you can have privacy and peace while being close to everything in town, we would definitely give you that. The property features outdoor shower, small playground for younger children, backyard with picnic table and shed that has washer and dryer for you to use, beach toys, chairs and wagon.

Host was great. House was great. Great central location. Overall wonderful stay. Only negative thing is that when booking I thought the property was closer to the beach than it was. I would not consider it walking distance to the beach.

Communication was great with the owner. We never got lost, thanks to her. We had issues with the WiFi, which we did not communicate with the owner, because it was late and the kids managed to survive. As well as several blinds are broken in the home and Oreos, were left on the ground near the main entrance of the home. Other then that, our stay was short but very nice! It’s very bright and colorful, which we all loved, especially the kids. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved it

Everything was great! We really enjoyed the location and our stay. The only problem my daughter had was the top bunk bed was a little shaky so she was scared to sleep on top. But overall it was a wonderful vacation spot.

Great House and Great Location

This is a guest house behind the owner's house, but it was a great experience. The place is well kept and convenient to most of the island. The owners were super helpful, and we never saw them unless we needed something. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely rent again from them.

Just what we needed!

Communication with host was very prompt. Dragica was accommodating with each request. The place was as described, but note that it presents as a cottage/guest house at the rear of a main home. It was very clean upon arrival. Comfortable for my family including 2 small kids. Not much yard space, but our purpose was the beach, so that didn't bother us. The beach is very close, about a 4 block walk. Dragica and her cleaning staff have certainly earned an extra special shout out from me. I left behind my wedding ring and they immediately contacted me and mailed it to promptly. She alleviated all my worry and anxiety. I am so grateful to have had THEM as hosts for this stay!

Great spot

Everything was great! The hosts were amazing, the house was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was equipped with what we needed to cook and eat at home. You are around t blocks away from the ocean, and if you sit outside, you can wear the waves hitting. We bought a train set for our son at the museum and we needed a tiny screwdriver to put the batteries in, and Dragica brought one over within the hour. The backyard is amazing with lights strung up. I can't say enough good things about this place or the hosts. We'll be back!

Great place to stay close to beach

The location of this house is great, a few minutes walk to the beach and restaurants. Beach chairs, umbrellas and towels were available for our use, which was a huge convenience. The house is very cute, and while it is small, you could comfortably sleep 8 people (we had 5 and had plenty of sleeping room).

Great place by the sea wall.

The owner greeted us politely and gave a tour of the property. Extra amenities that were not listed were available. There was also a really friendly outside cat that we were able to pet. I would recommend staying here. :)

Great Place, Great Family

Very nice, newly renovated house right behind the property listers house. Family was very nice and accommodating. The only thing I would recommend to the listers is to be more attentive to the messages coming through Homeaway. We messaged if an early check-in was possible, and did not get a response until we called the phone number. However, once we called, we were able to check-in early and the rest of the stay was exactly what we were looking for.
