Top Floor Condo with Gulf and Bay Views, Gorgeous Sunsets, Walk to Beach!

Look no further than A Second Wind for your fun filled island getaway. Master bedroom offers a king sized bed, with private access to balcony. Master bathroom has soaking tub, separate shower, and double vanities. Second bedroom boasts gulf view and queen bed with en suite. The third bedroom accommodates 4 guests with two sets of twin over twin bunks. It also has convenient access to hall bathroom with tub shower combo. There is a designated work space if needed along with full sleeper sofa in nook facing a gulf view. Free wifi with HD cable and smart TV's are included in bedrooms and living room. Linens are provided as well as a full sized washer and dryer. A Second Wind has a spacious open floorpan with a large living and dining area. The dining table can seat 8 and there are 4 bar stools at the bars flocking the kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware, along with a toaster, drip coffee pot, Keurig, blender, and stainless appliances.

There are two private balconies: one facing the gulf and the other overlooking the bay. Enjoy hot coffee while watching the sunrise for a great beginning; and later, dine al fresco during the gorgeous sunset to wind down. Only steps away from kayaking, wade fishing, and crabbing, along with bike or golf cart trails, bird watching and a 7 minute walk to the beach. It's a nature lover's paradise. For even quicker beach access take a one minute drive to the Pointe West Beach Club with free parking near a dune walkover with a ramp for wagons and wheelchairs.

Pointe West Beach Club is one of Galveston Island's favorite retreats. The 1000 acre property is located on the west end of the island. The Beach club is home to an infinity pool, large hot tub, kiddie pool, fitness center, game room, locker room with showers, gas and charcoal grills, cabanas and bicycles for rent, and more. A gift shop, restaurant and bar offering pool side service are available March through October. It's only steps away from over a mile of a groomed, private beach closed to vehicles. Pointe West also has miles of paved golf cart trails which are also fun for running, strolling, or cycling. There are tunnels connecting the bay side to the beach side on the trail. The club also hosts live entertainment during the summer on most Saturday evenings.

Access to the beach is included, however use of pools, game room, fitness center, pickle ball, and basketball court require a wristband. The Property Owner's Association collects a wristband fee of $25.00 per person and is good for the duration of your stay. They must be purchased in advance. Ages 4 and under do not require a wristband. They can be picked up at the beach club during business hours (9-5 off season and 9-6 daily Memorial Day through Labor Day). Temporary wristbands to access gift shop and restaurant are available if needed. Parking is free however Parking passes are required by Pointe West.

The bay side of Pointe West is home to a fabulous sunset pool and small lazy river with hot tub. There are charcoal grills along with a fire pit to make s'mores. Golf carts, kayaks, paddle boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, and canopies are available to rent from local venders. The condo also has beach chairs for your use.

The Strand, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, Pleasure Pier, and other Galveston attractions are just over 30 minutes away. There is a small grocery store about 12 minutes away, however it is a good idea to pick up groceries on the way.

The elevators can occasionally be unreliable at Pointe West and maintenance will reset them as needed; please keep this in mind if members of your group have impaired mobility.
