Just what we needed

Beautiful Lake View & Home
Publié le 9 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe view of the lake is incredible! It was so relaxing to sit on the porch and enjoy the calm. The house was clean and well stocked with whatever we needed. Pots, pans, utensils, dishes and the best coffee pot we’ve had at a VRBO. The home was comfortable and had great feel. Like most lake homes, the surrounding neighborhood doesn’t always match the type of house you are headed to. We never felt unsafe and all of the neighbors we passed were very friendly. 10/10 recommend! Thank you for the great experience

Scary Area

The house was adorable and clean, I didn’t have any problems with that at all. What’s not mentioned in the listing is that this house sits in the middle of an area where we didn’t feel safe. Some of the windows didn’t lock and the back double doors could have easily been broken into. The host was very easy to contact and was always prompt in responding to questions.

Lorie, I wish you would have reached out to us upon arrival had you felt unsafe at any point. The area is remote, but commonly traveled by tourists and the residents around the neighborhood. We have never had an issue with safety and I am glad that everything went well for you.
I will follow up with our maintenance to see about our doors as we strive to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our guests.

Really unique with a beautiful view!
Publié le 13 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were concerned upon arrival due to passing through lots of run down areas getting to the house. The property didn't have me expecting such a huge side yard and the pool table/game room in the garage was really a bonus! We enjoyed the family centered layout of the house and the views were phenomenal. The owner was very easy to work with as well. We knew that internet would be spotty so that wasn't an issue. We found the beds to be extremely comfortable too. The house is stocked with high end dishes/utenils/cookware/linens which is always a plus. There was a strong smell when we entered the house--like a dog smell, maybe? But the house was immaculately clean. We got some Febreze and fragrance plug ins and it became something we just barely could notice. I have a nose like a blood hound though so that's likely more me than the property. We ran out of hot water because of the big tub and having five people so plan around that, but the games, the porch, even the extra upstairs space we also rented--met our needs perfectly and we hope to return again!

I'm sorry about the odor. We are on a septic which can sometimes lead to a smell when the water isn't run often between guests. Our crew works hard to ensure that the property is sanitized and spotless at every turnover, but I'll be sure to double check!

Quick Getaway

The beds were super comfortable and we had everything we needed. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back and visit. Highly recommend for a relaxing time away!

Serene lakeside view

Comfortable beds, cozy living area, delightful bay window & dining area. Bunk room small & obviously it does have bunk beds but the beds are comfortable. The extra guest room is probably best for one person but we were 2 & made it work for us. Enjoyed playing corn hole toss on the patio and pool in the garage with the door open and the sun coming in. Best spice cabinet I’ve ever seen in a VRBO. We loved it. & thank you Vickie for working with us.
