NOT HAPPY CAMPERS!
Two of my friends from NJ met the 3 of us from SC for a long awaited girls weekend. We arrived at the cabin which was waaay up in the mountains and the very last one at the top of a long, winding road with very few side rails....only to find it dirty from past guests. Toothpaste and hair in sinks, stuff on a the floor that hadn’t been swept, and a dried jelly biscuit in the silverware drawer! The coffee pot did not work and put water and grounds all over. And the beds! All swooped in the middle with one king having a double sized mattress cover! Ketchup smears on the dining table! Ugh! We all went to the office the next morning on our way to Dollywood to complain. We were told Hotels.com had not made payment to them so no compensation was offered. I made these reservations and paid in full several months prior! And with the location of the cabin, nightlife was out of the question considering an unlit, high up, winding road with few side rails! I would have never booked this cabin just due to that. But to arrive and find it dirty made it worse. We all drove a long distance for this. On the way back home I did receive a call offering us a discount on a return trip. Ha! Not to stay there! Forget that! Five very disappointed women here! I love this area and will go again....but won’t do this place....especially if we want to do anything at night! And there is NO EXCUSE for the uncleanliness since it’s a 4pm checkin. NOT HAPPY CAMPERS HERE!
