Peace, Perfect Peace – sounds good, doesn’t it? It can be yours in this lovely mountain cabin located at the top of beautiful Black Bear Falls! Leave all your stress behind and enjoy the clean, clear mountain air. Enjoy your morning coffee or sip a glass of wine on our expansive decks. Rock away your cares or soak in our hot tub while enjoying amazing mountain views. And that’s just the outside!

Inside you’ll find an open floor plan. Relax in our comfortable living room. Enjoy our cozy fireplace on a cold winter’s day. Cook to your heart’s content in our fully equipped kitchen and dine with family and friends.
After a hard day of sightseeing, hiking, skiing, shopping, or relaxing, our comfortable beds await you. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom, and all are located on separate floors for privacy. The master bedroom, with attached bath, has a king bed. The other two bedrooms, both with attached baths, have queen beds. All bedrooms are equipped with TVs.

Rainy day, head to the lower level – perfect time for a game of pool! The washer and dryer are down there too – in case you need to do a load or 2! Or take advantage of the deck right off the game room.
Parking here is great, enough space for 4 cars! The grilling area, just off the deck, is complete with both a charcoal grill and an electric one.

Good news for those with allergies – neither smoking nor animals allowed, this is strictly enforced. Driveway is camera monitored for safety. *

The chalet was wonderful
roomy, clean and cozy. It had everything we needed so we could enjoy time with our family. Rob, our host, was friendly, responsive and communicated everything we needed to know in a timely manner.

The cabin was IMMACULATE in every way. Everything was super clean and it was even tastefully and lovingly decorated for the holidays. We’ve stayed in black bear falls probably 30 times over 23 years and this was one of my fave cabins. All bedrooms had comfortable beds and bedding. Common areas perfect for families. We had myself, my husband, my father in law, my 23 year oldDaughter and her boyfriend and our 14 year old and a friend. Kids downstairs (1 bedroom, a second living room w couch and another couch w pullout bed) and full bath. Video game and hot tub on deck on that level. My FIL got the main level bed and full bath and my husband and I the upstairs bedroom and full bath. Main level common area had very nice couches w room for everyone to sit or us older folks to lounge about. We stayed over Thanksgiving so of course had to watch OSU game! Absolutely perfect for multi age families. Kitchen was great for a vacay rental and the outside decks had lovely rocker chairs and a picnic table to enjoy the views. I’d imagine using the decks much more in warmer months. Host was very reachable, had one small issue and he had it handled immediately. If I could give 10 out of 5 stars I would and we will most definitely keep this cabin at top of our list next time we come.

Perfect for family

Had a great time. We actually saw a bear, which was the highlight of our trip! It did open our car door but was scared away easily, so lock those doors! Property manager had great communication and was available when we decided to add an extra night to our stay. Would stay here again.

Family getaway

Fantastic quick mountain getaway with our daughter and my mother-in-law. Cabin was a perfect fit and a great place to sit back and relax while enjoying the beautiful view and clear mountain air. Cannot wait to go back!

Nice cabin, enjoyed the stay, super clean. Only drawbacks were the alarm kept chirping and it's way high on the mountain (but you get a killer view).
