Corners of shower, outside of windows in room, and under the toilet seat was all gross. Elevator was sketchy. For being right on the Lake and about 40% higher price than a Holiday Inn Express, I expected FAR better quality. Staff was amazing tho, but the general manager needs to enforce better cleaning.

Subpar

The hotel has potential but it’s lacking in a few things. The front desk staff were great! The hotels appearance in the lobby is lacking. The elevators are SCARY! One is under construction and the other makes you feel like it’s your last ride. The hallways were fine but the room it’s self felt dirty and dated. The beds were practically on the floor and the mattresses are terrible full sized boxes. The bather lacked amenities that are basic and included in other chains like Hilton.

Rooms were dated and the furnishings showed wear and abuse. Broken drawers on nightstands. Mattresses were poor and lumpy. Requested room change twice because the AC didn't work or worked too well. The first room we were in got down to 55 degrees and it was set to 68! Would not stay here again.

Hotel needs to focus on the details

Elevator still out for over a week so wait times were longer since we were on top floor. Bed framing was ripped and pieces falling off. Chair arm was filthy and stained so we covered it with bathroom towel and we killed two fuzzy spiders running around in the bathroom. View was beautiful though

Location was excellent. Room was outdated and need of repair. Microwave was old and buttons worn down. Mini Fridge was not keeping cold. Elevator was broken and only had one available, making for wait time. I purchased a lake view room and had and obstructed view of a large tent covered in bird droppings. Toilet seat broken and the toilet was so low to the floor. Carpet in room smelled like it needed a good shampooer cleaning. Beds were very small but, comfortable. The pool water looked dirty and murky so, we did not go into the pool. It’s too bad because the hotel looked nice on the website. It’s a shame to charge that much for a run down hotel. I’ll stick with holiday inn next time and drive to lake and park.

Location of this property is magnificent! Lakefront views and terraces make it a stellar option. Property offers plenty of outdoor seating to absorb the scenery with access to a public dock, pier and dangerously close proximity to an ice cream shop next door. Easy walking access to the many restaurants and shops in the downtown area. Our room was very comfortably furnished and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Really wished we'd brought our bikes to take advantage of the bike/walking trail that went past the hotel along the lake. All in all, we truly enjoyed our stay and will return when in the area.

The room was clean. The view of the lake was awesome! Having a walking trail next to the lake was great as well! Having only one elevator working was a minor annoyance.

Pretty lake views. Book for the lake, not the pool

The hotel is pretty and right on the lake. Good walking distance to restaurants & shops in downtown Geneva. The pool is very tiny; at first sight it was mistaken as a hot tub. Service at the restaurant was slow, I'd recommend walking to a nearby restaurant. We were excited to see a washer & dryer on the 2nd floor, but the washer wasn't working.
