Spacious Room and Great Location

The hotel is located centrally in the heart of Gent and so convenient. My room was one an extra large room, pristine and very comfortable. The staff was so helpful and friendly. I had a car; parking was right under the hotel. The staff communicated in advance the instructions for the parking which was so helpful as I would have never found it based on the lobby adddress. I highly recommend this hotel.

Overall experience was great. Hotel staff was friendly and informative. The rooms was updated, quiet, and clean. Our favorite part of staying here was the hotel breakfast. We had never seen a hotel breakfast with so much variety and high quality foods. Would highly recommend!

Checked in slightly early but they were ready for us. Check in was easy. There was water a a little sweet snack available for free in the lobby. Nice lobby area to relax in. Went to our room. Was very spacious and clean. Plenty of room for luggage and clothes. Refrigerator was a nice addition. One free water provided. Bedding was nice and crisp and the bed was very comfortable. Shower was nice and the bathroom was very functional. Nice view to the nearby church. Window opened for fresh air. Walkable area. Loads of things to do nearby. Tram is easily accessible. Definitely recommend a stay here and a few days in Ghent.

Great hotel, perfect location

The hotel was excellent - large, clean room with plenty of storage in a perfect location. We did not have a car and were able to walk everywhere. We planned our stay long before we knew about the Ghent Festival but enjoyed easy access to all of the music stages and festival fun. The annual noose bearers procession passed directly in front of the hotel. An easy walk to Gravensteen castle, St. Bavo’s cathedral, the belfry and canal cruises. Love our stay and the city!

Great hotel, but a little fishy

I stayed at this hotel during the Gent Festival where all the festivities were happening around the hotel. Despite of chaos outside, my room was very quiet. But only thing is that hallway had this fried fish smell for the entire 2 nights I stayed.
