I can’t say enough good about our stay. This is a delightful inn. There were so many personal touches. Each room was decorated with a Christmas tree and decorative decor. The lobby and breakfast area was like something out of a magazine. It was spotless and comfortable. I will most definitely stay again!

This is an excellent stay. Rooms were updated and very clean. The grounds around are done very nicely. We sat out by the great fire pit on the grounds. Breakfast was ok. Just the basic thing.We will definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Adorable! My husband and I came down from Louisville for our anniversary. The room was decorated for Christmas with a little tree and Christmas pillows. Check-in and out was very easy and no key needed with digital entry. The bed was comfy and clean. I loved the kitchenette for a late night hot cocoa or cocktail. I would recommend stocking up on drinks and snacks. 10/10 We will be back!

We were only here for one night. It’s such a great place to stay! The motor lodge has been renovated with nice upgrades. Nice kitchenette in rooms and spacious. I went to breakfast for a great cappuccino and wasn’t hungry but they had something for everyone’s taste. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because it’s not cooked to order but for grab n go it was fine. Pool are was big and nice too. Very convenient location. Went to Popis (less than 5 miles) for take out dinner which was delicious.

Amazing communication, clean cabin, wonderful grounds, all the nice little touches that make a stay go from it was nice to it was AMAZING. Nice fire pit to sit around, pool, cornhole boards, putting green, they have it all! A wonderful breakfast in the main lobby each morning! It’s something you have to experience!

Very nice updated property with a unique and enjoyable pool. The only issue I would note is the bedspread had dirt (looked like it was from a shoe) and was looked like a tiny spot of blood on it.

Motel charm / Cabin comfort

This place is straight out of the pages of HGTV. Freshly renovated, it looks amazing! Totally out of lace in its surroundings, it is like stepping back in time to the era of roadside motels. We stayed in cabin #1 and it was adorable. Very nicely decorated. Two queen beds in one room and a sofa sleeper in the living room. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with fresh towels. Shower was tiny but did the job. The pool area was also newly renovated and featured two pools: one shallow pool for kids and a second pool with tables and places to put your drinks. Spent two nights here and would highly recommend the The Lakehouse Inn.
