Little Cottage On The Lake ** 40 steps to beautiful beach


This lake front cottage is located on the main beach in Gimli, MB just 50 paces away! It is fully renovated and loaded with all you need for a relaxing time at the beach. There is a TV, DVD, WIFI, gas BBQ, window AC and ceiling fans throughout. There are 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each and our guests share how they love our beds.There is a deck at the back for enjoying the evening sun and a large private deck at the front to enjoy the view of the lake and a screen room off of the deck.

This cottage is smoke free and allows up to 2 dogs with an additional pet fee of $60 per pet. This cottage is ideal for families as all attractions are close by. The white sand beach is just 50 paces away, the beach playground is a short walk, the splash pad, playground and Gimli Park are two blocks away. Downtown Gimli is filled with a variety of restaurants and shops. Camp Morton is a short drive away.

Please see the calendar for availability, minimum stay is one week in July and August from Friday to Friday. Minimum stay during other times of the year range from 2-4 days.

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful little cabin. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was fabulous, easy walk to anywhere in town, and right at the beach! We stayed over Canada Day, so it was very busy in the area, with many large groups setting up all their stuff right outside the fenced yard. Obviously other people liked the location also! There are some nice big trees along this end of the beach that provided needed shade on hot days. We would definitely rent this cabin again!

Great place to stay

Quiet little area, where you can see the lake right from the living room area. Everything inside is great, the only downside was that the bedrooms are smaller than I expected from the pictures, so I had to figure out another way to get my baby to sleep in his own room, but we got it worked out! Everything you may want is in walking distance in town. Weather was kind of miserable while we were there, but we were able to enjoy are stay, and will likely stay here again if we come into town again!

Beautiful and Peaceful

We visiting the Cottage on the Lake for Spring Break. We don't get to see snow very often so this was a fantastic experience! Communication with the host, Tom, was outstanding. The Cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed. The beds were SUPER comfortable! The cottage was so cute, convenient, and has an amazing view. It was amazing in the Winter and I'm sure it would be even more so in the Summer!The entire process from start to finish was simple and easy. The Cottage on the Lake was perfect in every way. Lovely cottage right on the water

Wonderful cottage with a great location! Right on the water and a short walk to many amenities including good food! I was there in the winter so Gimli was very quiet and peaceful which was exactly what I was looking for. The cottage was immaculate, one of the cleanest places I've stayed at. While I didn't meet him in person, the owner Tom was a pleasure to interact with and super responsive! Highly recommend both the property and Tom as a host

Awesome Little Cabin

Wow! What a great spot to stay in Gimli. Awesome location. Cabin was clean and had lots of details to help make it a home away from home. The cabin is not large but had everything we needed. Clean, nice beds, comfortable living area and a kitchen stocked with all the necessities. Enjoyed our stay and would return again.

Excellent stay at the Little Cottage

The location is perfect - a short walk to anything you need in Gimli while still being on the lake. The cottage was very clean and well-appointed (extra charging cords were available if needed, etc.). We appreciated the comfortable furniture and lamps in the living room and bedrooms. Great communication with the hosts and an enjoyable stay.

A Relaxing End to the Summer

We were so impressed with the Little Cottage on the Lake especially being able to see Lake Winnipeg from our deck. Tom is a gracious and competent host and readily replies to any requests. The cottage was immaculate when we arrived and well supplied with condiments. We do hope to be able to return another time.

Lovely Cottage by the Lake

Cottage was as described. Very clean and with all the amenities of home. We enjoyed the view of the lake, relaxing on the deck and we were just steps from the beach. The town is within walking distance and we enjoyed trips into town for food and shopping. We look forward to visiting again sometime.

Family gathering/ice fishing trip

Great location. Just walk a km out in front of cabin and catch some fish. Wind was a little crazy this time so couldn’t get as much fishing in. Had an awesome trip. Needed a dustpan inside the cabin and a shovel to clean off the deck when it snowed on us.

The perfect place!

My family of 3 stayed here for an ice fishing trip. I enjoyed morning coffee with the view beautiful Lake Winnipeg. The hosts thought of everything. It had comfortable furniture, an electric fireplace and was well stocked. A short walk to downtown and grocery stores and best of all this place is spotless!! We can’t wait to come again!
