Just a bunch of little things. Booked third party but was supposed to be a queen with a pullout instead was just a full size bed. Lamps missing lightbulbs, shower dripped, heater fan was funky. Quirky things you expect in the cheapest hotel in town. Really just needs some updating and better maintenance.

Staff was outside smoking when we arrived. Toilet did not work properly as plunger system was broke and disconnected and we had to manually fix it each flush. Room was tidy but not very clean and something bit us during the night, we had small red dots on our skin in various places. TV had limited channels to choose from. Breakfast was served at an entirely different building across the street and not a very good selection of food and the food workers long hair was wrapped into the cheese slices and I pointed it out to her that she should wear a hair net as her hair was getting wrapped around the cheese slices she was hand packing.

Nice staff. Older hotel but everyone was nice and it is a great value for a place to stay. Owner was very good about giving us a refund when we cut our visit short by a week. I rated as 3 star because it is an older hotel but the owner and staff were great. Maybe I should have rated a little higher.

The room and the building were very nice. I appreciated the breakfast voucher for the hotel next door. That said, this place has some serious security issues. First, upon checking in, I was not asked for an ID. This has never happened to me, even in the seediest of motels. The back and side doors to the building were not locked. There were some people that appeared to be living in campers out back; they were partying loudly and made me a bit nervous as I had to walk close to them to get to my car, and then enter the unlocked building. The next morning, my key stopped working, so I went to the front desk to have it reprogrammed. The lady working the desk asked what room I was in, then fixed the key without verifying who I was! Now, I am not a timid traveler. I am a female traveling solo, and it takes a lot to make me worry about safety. This place managed to do that. Since it appears to be a new business, I figure it just has some kinks to work out, but I would stay elsewhere until they sort out these issues.

The room was severely neglected and outdated. Carpet was partially torn up. No trim on the floor board. Hotel smelled of smoke. Bathroom had a black substance and hair in the shower drain. The drain would not drain. No hot water. No attendant after ten pm to address the lack of hot water. Also no attendant at six AM when there was still no hot water for the shower. One of the worst hotels I have stayed at in years. Not sure how it gets so many decent reviews.

People sitting in the back of the hotel in hotel chairs, with 25 lb of dog food like they lived there. Even though there was a section for no pets, the dogs were very loud!

This property wasn’t “dirty”, per se, but it did smell like cigarettes in our room and the room was very outdated. The door going into the building did not lock and unlock properly, which was unsettling considering it was me and my mother traveling together. We got there late and there were two sketchy individuals hanging around the front door, and since the doors didn’t lock properly we didn’t appreciate that. Nothing happened, but just something we didn’t care for having to worry about. The breakfast in the morning was fine, nothing special. It’s an okay stay for a one-night pass through, but I would maybe stay somewhere else next time.

Very friendly and helpful check in staff. At this time in history, it’s kind of hard to make ends meet, but if they could find ways to start freshening up a little. It would be helpful. The breakfast could use some quality fresh fruit. Their main star is their staff… All very kind!
