PARKING:

We’ve made parking a breeze! The driveway has space for multiple vehicles, so feel free to park there. If you prefer street parking, you’ll find plenty of spots right in front of the house for easy access. Just be sure to park on the side closest to the house to keep the road clear for emergency vehicles. And one last thing—please avoid parking on the grass to help us keep the property looking its best!

At The Groovy Glenwood Getaway, you’ll enjoy complete independence during your stay! While we won’t be on the property, we’re just a message or call away if you need anything. At The Groovy Glenwood Getaway, we’re all about keeping things tidy! Trash pick-up is every Friday, so just leave the bin by the street. Thanks for helping us keep the good vibes flowing!

A quick heads-up about our wild neighbors: We’ve got some amazing wildlife around, and it’s important to respect them from a safe distance. Please don’t leave food outside or in your car—we wouldn’t want to tempt Gary, our local black bear. He’s been spotted on the property twice this week and knows how to open unlocked car doors!

Check-In/Check-Out:
Check-in time is 4:00 PM.
Check-out time is 11:00 AM.
Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability.

No Smoking:
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house.
Please use outdoor areas and dispose of cigarette butts properly. We have high chance of wildfire in the area so please be very careful with embers.

Pet Policy:
Pets are welcome! Please ensure they are well-behaved and clean up after them.
Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds.
Notify us in advance if you are bringing pets.
The yard is NOT fenced.

Noise Levels:
Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Please be respectful of our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum during these hours.

Parties and Events:
No parties or events are allowed without prior approval.
Small gatherings are permitted, but please respect our home and neighbors.

Safety:
Do not tamper with safety devices such as smoke detectors or security cameras.
The exterior camera is for your safety and faces the driveway only.

Cleanliness:
Please keep the property clean and tidy.
Dispose of trash in the provided bins.
Wash dishes and leave used towels on the floor upon departure.

Respect the Property:
Treat our home as if it were your own.
Report any damages or issues immediately so we can address them promptly.

Children:
Supervise children at all times, especially around the river, trails, and climbing dome.
Use the provided crib and high chair safely.

Fire Safety:
Use the fire pit responsibly, keep fires low, and ensure the fire is completely extinguished before leaving it unattended.
Do not use the fireplace if you are unsure of its operation.
We have fire extinguishers and fire blankets under the sinks in the kitchen and kitchenette.

Parking:
Park only in designated areas.
Do NOT park on the grass.
Do not block the driveway or other vehicles.

Hot Tub:
Follow the posted guidelines for hot tub use.
Children must be supervised at all times in the hot tub.
No glassware in or around the hot tub area.

Wildlife Awareness:
Be aware that wildlife, including bears, may be present in the area. Always keep a safe distance and do not approach or feed any animals.

Food and Trash:
Store all food and trash securely inside the house.
Do not leave food or trash outside or in cars overnight or unattended.

Outdoor Areas:
Clean up outdoor eating areas promptly and thoroughly.
Keep grills and cooking areas clean to avoid attracting wildlife.

Bear Mace:
Bear mace is provided for your safety and is located under the kitchen and kitchenette sinks.
Familiarize yourself with its use and only use it in case of an emergency.
Ensure bear mace is kept out of reach of children.

Hiking and Trails:
Stay on marked trails and be aware of your surroundings.
Do not enter garage or behind garage. This space is rented out for storage to a neighbor.

Departure:
Ensure all windows and doors are locked upon departure.
Clean dishes/run dishwasher and put all used towels on the floor.
