â–Ș All service disconnections are now completed, and the site is ready for demolition.

â–Ș Demolition works will commence on Wednesday, 25th June 2025. Installation of site fencing will begin on the same morning.

â–Ș On – demand diggers (ODD) have been awarded the demolition contract.

The demolition is expected to take approximately 3 weeks, weather permitting.

Week 1: Internal strip out

Week 2: Asbestos removal

Week 3: Structural demolition and removal of debris

ODD will implement appropriate dust control and traffic management measures during the works, including temporary road closures when required.

Please be aware that the Burleigh area is currently experiencing ongoing construction as part of the Gold Coast Light Rail expansion project. This work is taking place throughout Burleigh Heads and surrounding areas and may result in:



â–Ș Increased noise during daytime hours

â–Ș Changed traffic conditions or detours

â–Ș General construction activity near some properties



While this is outside of our control, we want to ensure guests are fully informed prior to booking. The project is expected to enhance transport access to Burleigh once complete, but in the meantime, minor disruptions may be present.



We’ve priced our properties competitively during this period to reflect these temporary conditions. If you have any concerns, please reach out before booking — we’re happy to provide more details.

We were surprised to learn that the apartment balcony required for painters to have access during daylight hours. This was very inconvenient. Also, the rooftop area was closed for maintenance for the whole period of our stay. We contacted the property manager who, one would expect, should have known about these encumbrances to our stay. They knew nothing, and committed to make appropriate consideration for loss of enmity. Nothing further has been heard from them. Otherwise the condition of the property was OK.
No access to the rooftop for the period of our stay.
We had painters arrive at various times on each weekday.
Our privacy was clearly effected by the painters presence.
