Nurture your most important relationships at this peaceful authentic log cabin, built in 2022 , halfway in the long lane of our 18 acre property. The massive pine trees create privacy behind you. Relax on the front porch and watch the sunset beyond the horse pasture and cornfields. The cabin boasts Wi-Fi, TV, Blu-ray/DVD player with built in Wi-Fi similar to Roku. it also has a washer and dryer,full tub with shower in it, queen bed, reclining sofa with heat, a kitchen stocked with pots and pans and a microwave.

Very nice cabin that was warm and cozy, even in the snow! Extremely clean with comfortable furnishings. Cookware was in great condition and there was everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals. Totally enjoyed our stay!

My wife and I loved the cabin. It was quiet, clean, and had horses, cows and turkeys out the front door. So much better than a dreary hotel room! Will definitely stay again when I am in town.

ReviewReturning to my home town to see family and friends, we found this space to be idyllic, tranquil, a wonderful retreat from the big city. This place was perfect for us, from the deck you can watch the horses graze and the calves frolic as the birds and bugs join in a chorus and your stress just melts away. It’s not a big place but it’s wonderfully laid out with all the basics you might need. And it had the best seating we’ve found in this size of vacation rental.

Can't help but to Relax.

Perfect for a quite get a way. Far enough out of town for quite evenings. Close enough to town to go to resteraunts. Fidler Pond in Goshen was quite enjoyable, walking, biking.

Peaceful Pasture Getaway with Stunning Sunsets!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin nestled in a peaceful family pasture. The space was the perfect size—cozy, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. Watching baby cows just across from us added a special charm, and the sunsets were absolutely stunning. It was a quiet, relaxing getaway, and we’ll definitely be back!

We certainly enjoyed our time relaxing at the cabin by the pines! A private and quaint little cabin that had everything we needed, including the tranquility of being surrounded by nature. From the deck, we got to watch the horses in the pasture in front of us while we watched the sunset. There was even the soothing sounds of a distant train nearby here and there. Everything was clean, comfortable and decorated nicely. Our host, Dennis, was polite and great with communicating quickly and answering any questions.

Quiet retreat I am

Looking for a quiet retreat, sitting on the front porch, watching gorgeous sunsets and listening to the horses. Talk to each other? Cabin by the Pines is the place to go near Goshen Indiana!

A nice little cabin right off a driveway, but the surrounding pine trees make it separete and secluded, with a view of farm land and little else so you can disconnect and relax, forgetting the world exists. The decor is old rustic meets modern utilitarian, fantastic use of gas piping to make bars for curtains and handles for shelves and to hang towels. A very comfortable bed that does have a head adjustment. You have to get use to the tank-less water heater. The couch in the sitting area is wonderful, heated, massaging, and extremely comfortable. The cabin is in the rural area of Goshen but close enough to downtown that it make little different. The cabin is also very close to Elkhart so shopping, dining, and amusement are close. I hope the family that opened there cabin is blessed for the little bit of calm they bring to people.

Great get away place for couples. Good location, 5-10 minute drive into town if you need something, but feels like you're out in the middle of nowhere in the cabin. We'll definitely return

Great Place to Stay!

This is my second year to stay at this property. I come to the South Bend area one time per year to visit with friends and see a Notre Dame game. It is reasonably close to ND and South Bend. The location is great, and the property is so peaceful. The owner is very nice and easy to work and communicates well. I plan to return again.
