Renovated family cottage with garden in the heart of the Saône Valley

In the heart of the Saône Valley, explore the towpaths and marinas of Scey-sur-Saône and Port-sur-Saône. Fayl-Billot, the basket-making capital, and the Château de Ray-sur-Saône are just 20 minutes away. The glassworks of Passavant-la-Rochère and the Château de Champlitte are 40 minutes away. Vesoul and its historic center are 20 minutes away, while Jussey and its farmers' market (Friday afternoons) are only 15 minutes away. Numerous hiking and cycling trails are available. Local and organic producers can be found in Gourgeon and the surrounding villages. The owner of the gîte, Joëlle, organizes botanical outings to discover the local wild plants and leads workshops on edible wild plants. In Gourgeon, this fully renovated gîte is located in a charming family home. On the ground floor, it features a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen with a wood-burning stove, a living/dining room with a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi, and a bathroom with a large walk-in shower, a double vanity unit, and a separate toilet.

Upstairs, a spacious landing provides a double sofa bed, a desk, a bookcase, and games. It leads to two bedrooms: one with a double bed (140 x 200 cm) and a single bed (90 x 190 cm), and the other with two single beds (90 x 200 cm) that can be joined together. A travel cot is also available. Bed linen is provided, and wood and oil heating is included.

Outside, a furnished wooden terrace overlooking the garden offers a peaceful space with garden furniture and a barbecue. Parking is available in the enclosed courtyard. The cottage's roadside location provides easy access without compromising the acoustic comfort inside.

The cottage has been awarded the "Accueil Vélo" (Cyclists Welcome) label. Bicycles are available for rent on-site, including two e-bikes, two hybrid bikes, and a child seat.

Charging electric vehicles is included in the 10 kWh/day allowance included in the nightly rate. Beyond this allowance, a charge of €5 per 20 kWh increment will be applied, with consumption recorded upon arrival and departure.

This surcharge applies to all guests once the 10 kWh/day allowance is exceeded.

For business bookings, stays are limited to two weeks and a maximum of four people, as the house only has four beds. The cottage is non-smoking. Guests will be welcomed by the owners.
