We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in Tangier. From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel incredibly welcome—more like a friend than a host. His kindness and helpfulness truly elevated our experience. The home itself is beautiful, full of character and well cared for. While there’s no elevator, the stairs were manageable and led to a lovely rooftop deck with sweeping views of the Medina—a perfect spot to relax and take in the city. The surrounding walkways were a delight to explore, full of local color and surprises around every corner. We did have a bit of trouble finding the place at first, but with the address in hand, we were able to sort it out. All in all, it was a memorable and heartwarming stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience Tangier with a personal touch.

We stayed in the deluxe apartment (2 basic bedrooms, 1small private bathroom, small hallway kitchen with fridge and tiny freezer). Nice views to plaza. Adequate A/C. Decent communication before via email. No staff onsite, no lobby, no option for luggage storage. Could not reach staff by provided phone number during stay. Beware many rooms seem to have shared bathrooms and kitchen. All rooms located on 3rd floor and no elevator. Was fine for a night but would have felt cramped for 4 people for longer. Pictures seem accurate but read detail for whichever room you choose. Clean and everything in working order. Close to many shops, taxi stand and restaurants.

Very clean and Location is the best. We were driving to Granada and we had no idea this building is located in a restricted area with only taxis having access. Travelling with kids and having to carry the luggages for about 15 min along a steep road was a hassle. We only had received a message in ‘Spanish’ about this just a few hours before our arrival even though all the communications were in English.

I stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it. It’s a small place, but lovely and so so clean. Walking distance to everything in Granada, just 20 minutes from one of the Alhambra hotels entrances. The only warning is the stairs to get up since the building is older and has no elevator, so if you’re unable to carry luggage up this may be an issue. However, I would highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful Pensione in the Center of Granada

This sweet Pensione is in the best possible location in Granada, right off Plaza Nueva. The accommodations were great, and the service even better. Warm, generous and accommodating. The concierges’ gave us a terrific list of restaurants and things to do, helped with our luggage, and gave us clear directions to the excellent buses in Granada.

Nice little place, well located

Clean, convenient, had everything we needed. Front desk was in the hallway of a set of rooms on the 3rd floor of an old apartment building. The boutique hotel was these apartments. We had one of the larger rooms. Not much for decorations on the walls inside, but everything else was well thought out.

Very clean and well-kept property. Wonderful location for walking everywhere. Host provided many helpful tourist tips and restaurant recommendations. There is no elevator, so one should know you need to climb 3 fights of stairs to access. Would definitely stay here again!

we had a lovely time in Granada at our accommodation. we were greeted by Miriam who made us feel at home. lots of info too to get around Granada. Pension Boutique is decorated beautifully.adequate space for 4 adults with lovely views from both bedrooms over plaza nueva.
