The town of Grand Lake is a fun little mountain town right near the west entrance into Rocky Mountain National Park. The condo was very disappointing. The description in VRBO is incomplete and misleading. If you want lots of exercise then you will love it. 2 very long flights of stairs and the kitchen is on the 3rd level. This would NOT be a safe place for babies or toddlers or people with any physical challenges. There is no AC and we only found 2 inefficient noisy box fans. The unit is right next to the main road into Grand Lake and with needing to leave the windows open it is noisy! Bring your own coffee but don't worry about pancake syrup - i found 5 open bottles in the cupboard! Very poor quality eating utensils and overall a disorganized mess of a kitchen. Let's see.. any positives? Games for kids and good wifi. Beds are so so - east bedroom needs room darkening shades/curtains. All in all an uncomfortable stay at this "luxury" condo!
