Cute and cosy cottage in the stunning grounds of the Chateau de la Vallee in Grandcourt, Normandy. There are three bedrooms, a living room and open plan kitchen/diner with a private outdoor dining terrace with barbecue. The property shares a 30 x 15 foot swimming pool with the chateau as well as 5 acres of stunning grounds. Walk to the local shop for your fresh croissants and bread and pay a visit to the local bar for a taste of the real France! Perfect for families with plenty to do in the region all year round - plus you're only 15 mins drive from the beach!

Fantastic property in a fantastic location.

Such a gorgeous cottage, immaculate grounds & topped off with a bottle of champagne waiting in the fridge & a gorgeous basket of fruit on the table. Very valuable tourist information provided by laura who manages the property also helped .

Très bon séjour avec enfant de 2 ans

Nous avons loué le cottage pour 4 adultes et 1 enfant de 2 ans pendant une semaine. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Le cottage est petit mais confortable et très bien équipé. La piscine chauffée a été fort appréciée. Nous avons eu la chance que le château soit vide presque toute la semaine donc très calme pour nous... mais quand le château est loué par un groupe ça peut faire du bruit. C'est une question de chance ! Grandcourt est bien situé, à deux pas du bois d'Eu avec de chouettes promenades et seulement 20min du Tréport et Mers-les-Bains. Il y a une balançoire pour les enfants et des ânes à nourrir dans le village. Attention, le lit bébé est carré (il faut le savoir le pour le matelas et les drap !). Il y a une épicerie à 20min du cottage, super pour le pain frais le matin (à commander). Merci pour les fruits et la bouteille de champagne à l'arrivée :-)

Highly Recommend this pretty cottage

Our family stayed at the property in April 2010. We appreciated the warm welcome by the hosts who live on site and this is handy if you need any help or advice. The cottage was compact but had everything we needed to hand, it was spotlessly clean when we arrived and the welcome pack and robes were a definate plus. We would highly recommend this cottage to people with young families or teenagers, or just a couple on their own. We would definately stay here again if we were to return to France.
