Cozy and comfortable wooded cabin

This property is located in the heart of Alta in a quiet wooded setting. It is a great base for hiking, fishing and skiing in the Tahoe basin. It is 30 minutes from Boreal Ski resort and 45 min from Truckee. We have a huge deck with a BBQ, great for relaxing while having a cup of coffee, or just visiting with family and friends. Plenty of room around the property for the kids and a fire pit to enjoy at night. There is also access to a community pool in Dutch Flat 5 minutes away. This cabin was built in 2010 as my parents summer home and has all the comfort and conveniences. Owners live on site in the separate main house.

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. This was our second stay here, and definitely not our last. The cabin was clean, peaceful, and well maintained, making it a perfect place to relax. Being close to the freeway was also a big plus, providing peace of mind and an easy escape in case of bad weather. The hosts were fantastic and very welcoming and caring. Highly recommended!

This cabin was more than just a place to stay, it felt like a little portal tucked into the woods, holding space for stillness, warmth, and presence. My friends and I spent the weekend here for my bfs birthday, and it was exactly what we needed. Everything about the space invited us to slow down, the quiet hum of the trees, the gentle light through the windows, the grounding energy of wood and stone.It felt deeply cared for, like the kind of place that remembers great vibes!

I really enjoyed my cozy stay. I enjoyed some wonderful peace and quiet which is exactly what I needed. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. I had everything I needed. The cabin was clean and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and the trees are amazing. Also, their labradoodle and kitty are awesome.

This cabin was perfect! Lovely, comfortable, had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It's close enough to I-80 to be convenient but tucked far enough away to feel like we were in the middle of the forest. The hosts were very accommodating, friendly, and communicative. This was exactly what we needed! Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Love this place!

The Cozy Cabin was exactly that. Beautiful surroundings and easy to locate. My family and I had plans to ski at Soda Springs for the weekend, which was a short 30 minutes to the hill, which worked out perfectly. Out of the hustle and bustle of traffic and a quiet retreat. This cabin was absolutely amazing! It was extremely clean, very well stocked in the kitchen, and had all the streaming services on the TV the kids could ask for! The view in the morning looking out into the forest was stunning. The cats that greeted us upon arrival made us feel like we were at home. I would highly recommend this place and would love to stay again.

Cozy Perfect Ski Weekend

Wonderful spot - worked perfectly for a family ski trip, a quick 30 minute drive up to Royal Gorge and Sugar Bowl. The cabin was spotless when we arrived, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped. Our hosts were kind and accommodating and we loved staying in the quiet forest at the end of the road. We'll be back!

Sweet little place

Needed a little getaway. The family and I were able to spend three nights at the cabin to relax and unwind. Enjoyed the surroundings, friendly cat, dog and sweet property owners. We enjoyed walking around and playing outside. We will be back to have some tranquility again.

This was the perfect “cabin in the woods getaway” for our family of five. We were looking for a place to reconnect with our daughters before the beginning of school/college. Cozy Cabin Getaway

This cabin and host was remarkable. We originally had plans to site see in Lake Tahoe, and other places but found ourselves repeatedly going back to the cabin to just hang and play games. Had a campfire, played ball with the dog, and hung out with cat. Great time. Scott accommodated everything we requested lickety split. The cabin layout was awesome. Will stay again.
