Fantastic hotel in the perfect location to explore Nevada City. I loved staying in a place with so much history. The bed was comfy, and we had a great meal and drinks in the bar downstairs.
We loved it! The modern upgrades were very pleasing, the room decor and the comfort of the bed were fantastic. The spacious lounge area on the second floor was very cool and it had access to the balcony looking over the main street. Lots of antique artifacts to enjoy throughout the building. The location could not have been better, right on Broad Street, chock full of great shops and restaurants. We opted not to eat in the restaurant, even though the decor was historical and really cool, the menu frankly did not look very exciting. We opted for a different restaurant around the corner, and then we came back and had a cocktail in the super cool bar. Do not miss the bar.
Every staff member provides superior service from check in, dining, filling ice buckets, check out, etc. The dining and bar were truly an experience that are memorable in the hopes to return to make more memories.
Amazing stay, loved the water pressure in the shower it was amazing didn’t want to get out of the over head waterfall head and the vintage wallpaper and beds and furniture are so perfect we had a great time
The National Exchange Hotel is a charming jewel in this historic and charming gold mining town of Nevada City. Obvious effort has been made to preserve the elegant feel of a fine hotel that benefitted from a very prosperous history.
Very unique building. Very old but recent remodel made it quite charming. The room was fantastic, the outdoor patio area 2nd floor was great. Had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and was quite good. Highly recommend
