Excellent location for the Schloßberg and main square but still fairly quiet. Breakfast was self service - perfectly fine but not spectacular. No restaurant for evening meal but there were several Austrian and Italian restaurants nearby. The internal atrium was very attractive and the room was lovely high ceilings. Not much furniture in the room though - could have made more of a feature. Seemed a bit sparse. Need to fix the broken (flashing) lights in the hallway but other than that a nice hotel in a good location.

Recommended with a little catch... Old style and old hotel. That means, some of the rooms have wood parquet - that you can here it when walking... You have to love this kind of style which has a charm that new modern hotels don't have. Got room 117 - faces the alley - very quiet. (there are no cars allowed to drive here but only cabs/light rail and groceries). Did not have breakfast. Location is 11 of 10 !!! Big room. Separate toilet. Graz was more than I expected - book this room and find out... Tip 1: go to the Schlossberg and enter the "Graz Museum Schlossberg" - new facility with nice demos and the best view of the city. Tip 2: uber doesn't always work. use the standard taxi instead, more or less the same price. > The little catch :didn't like the blackout curtains - they don't block the light, so if you are sensitive - on summer the sunrise is 5:00 and you might wake up...

There is misinformation about air conditioner in the hotel. On site it says that rooms have AC. But when we arrive to hotel and asked that it's little bit hot in room, we got answer that they are not switch on AC in winter. My visit was on Apr 25-27, temperatures were around 25 degrees. In the desk we were suggested to open windows. It helped a little with hot, but became noisy even at nights

Short stay in Graz

A beautiful hotel in the historic district. Easy walk to shops, restaurants and the opera. The room was comfortable and very spacious. A great stay.
