Well, well, well, what an amazing hotel
Every aspect was just perfect. The Art Deco Sunrise suite was amazing with views of the sea, the staff were very hospitable and the food excellent. Would certainly use this brilliant hotel again.
Room was a good size and has air conditioning. Plenty of towels and well equipped with sundries ( biscuits etc). Breakfast very good and plenty of it. Dinner menu is good if a little expensive.
On arrival we were warmly greeted.
We were given a surprise upgrade to a beautiful suite of rooms, all decorated in the art deco style. All the staff here are genuinely helpful, curteous & approachable.
We have been here several times, at different times of the year. We love being near the sea.
The downside is the actual town itself, which has deteriorated over the past few years.
This will not deter us from returning to this comfortable home from home hotel.
Asked for sea views. It did indeed have sea view looking through rusting metal work of the fire escape! We had the only bedroom window on that side of the building with the old fire escape across it. My fault - I asked for sea view not unobstructed sea view. Unless you like old rusty metal work avoid room 206.
However excellent cooked breakfast - hot and very tasty. Friendly breakfast staff.
I think the property could add a â libraryâ to give people something to read ⊠it was a very pleasant stay âŠthe weather was generally good but in different weather it might have been a bit boring !
Room is ok,could do with a lick of paint for the price.
I looked behind the toilet,it has not been cleaned in awhile.
Front of house alittle bit moody.
Bar staff and breakfast plus staff were great.
I have stayed here a few times, standards have slipped.
