Nous avons passé un super sejour dans la villa Avouri,Nous avons tout particulierement apprecié l exterieur, la vue magnifique, la piscine comme il faut bien fraiche et grande.L intérieur etait simple et agreable.Elle est située sur une montagne au calme pres de la belle plage de Lindos et des autres sites et plages a voir.Jenny a ete une hÎte au petit soin, elle repond dans la seconde et tout a ete facile.Elle nous a donné beaucoup de conseil poir de supers bons restos et visites... nous sommes arrivés le soir et elle avait a boire et a manger.La villa est sans vis a vis

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at this lovely villa and we absoutely loved both the villa and location, as a family we do not like busy or built up areas so this location was perfect, it was so peaceful, truly a lovely place to relax!Jenny as a host was amazing, lots of information provided and very easy to contact. Her list of restaurants and things to do was a great touch. We slowly worked our way through the restaurant list and they did not disappoint! Our favourite being Konstantin which is the only restaurant we revisited and was only a 5 min drive away.We enjoyed visiting the island and we would love to return one day.

Perfect location for a relaxed break

We had a great stay - The Villa is in a fantastic location with one of the best views on the Island. The area is very quiet with amenities close by - just what we needed for a relaxing week. The villa itself is clean and well kept with a lovely pool - suitable for all ages, it was really nice to spend a few hours in the pool every afternoon and then relax looking out across the sea. The host could not be more helpful and has made our holiday stress free. Highly recommended!!

Stunning views, great location

We loved our week in Villa Avouri, it’s a beautiful home from home with well equipped kitchen. The views are stunning and pool was lovely. Lindos is a 5 min car ride away and Kalathos has good local eateries and provisions. Jenny is a fantastic host with great communication and recommendations. I hope we will return one day!

Close to perfect

Plain sailing from start to finish a wonderful stay. Villa was amazing perfect for us - view from bedroom balcony were spectacular - overlooling the sunrise at breakfast or with a bottle of wine in evening. Pool was excellent alternative to the beach and great in the evening when we didn't want to go out. Location was excellent for Lindos and not too a far drive to Rhodes town (which is gorgeous) Definitely recommend Haraki and Agathi for kajaks, paddleboards, snorkeling and eating out. Sea very warm and shallow. Jenny is a perfect host - her recommendations for restaurants and excursions sent prior to our trip were very helpful- spot on. Definitely recommend Konstantin and Costas & Elena restaurants 😁. Thank you Jenny for a truly wonderful holiday in your lovely villa - hope to return soon.

Unforgettable villa

Such a fantastic place! The house is very comfortable, has everything you need and more, very clean, very well equipped kitchen, linen, towels, even a welcome pack with essentials ,considering we arrived 2.15 in the morning, it was a blessing. The pool is fantastic and great option when you want to stay in the villa . The beach in Kalathos is beautiful, long and has little stones, the water is incredible! It is 7 minutes drive from Lindos, 50 minutes from Rhodes and nearby well known beaches like Tsambika, Kolymba, Traganou, etc, . Jenny has been always available and such a helpful and friendly host, thank you !

Beautiful villa with the amazing view

We stayed August 2022 and booked a week before travelling. From the moment we booked to the day we left Jenny was available to contact. She was an amazing host, sending us information on restaurants, places to visit and giving us help with car hire and tour recommendations. The Villa was perfect for 2 adults [double room upstairs] and 3 children (15/13/11) [twin room upstairs and one on the sofa bed downstairs] with air conditioning in both bedrooms and downstairs. The kitchen has everything you need (oven and stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge freezer etc). The private pool is amazing and the highlight of the house. The view north-east up the coast from the bottom of garden is simply stunning - we sat there at dawn to dusk underneath the bougainvillea (Scarce Swallowtail butterflies, lizards and praying mantis in the garden). We’d definitely recommend a car as it’s up a steep hill to the Villa and the supermarket is a five minute drive away with a bakery (Zucchero) next door that must be visited. We have nothing but happy memories of our week at Villa Avouri!

We had a great time

We are a family of 5 (kids 2, 11 and 13 yr.) and had a great time. The house was very clean and has everything you need. Jenny was very reactive and helpful via texting. If you have a car it's a great location with many nice beaches, beachbars and restaurants within a 5 to 10 min. drive. The view on the pool and the sea is wonderful.

Gorgeous view!

First of all, the pool area is fantastic with a very clean, well maintained pool with the occasional flower blossom floating across the surface, a well-groomed garden with palm trees, and a breath-taking view of mountains and sea. Plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The neighborhood seems quite nice and quiet with lots of private villas. The facade of the house looked like it was freshly painted (white). There was plenty of seating with both indoor and outdoor dining areas. The dishwasher saved time for funner activities, and we only had to check 2 suitcases for 4 people because we had a washing machine. The bedrooms had nice firm mattresses and plenty of storage. Good-sized towels were provided for showering and more for the pool. Kitchen basics like salt, sugar, balsamic and oil were provided as well as some bottled water, coffee and tea and even some liquors. The coffee maker is a drip-style coffee maker and filters were also provided. Air conditioning worked well. We even found an assortment of books, (mostly in English) and sunscreen and mosquito repellants (which we luckily never needed). The shower curtain could have been longer, but other than that I can't think of anything I would change. The best beaches, grocery stores and Lindos are nearby. I would definitely stay here again. I recommend mimosas at the pool while enjoying the view and breeze. And a car, the hill would be a long, steep, hot walk.

Privacy with beautiful view close to hotspots

Very friendly host with nice neighbors. Clean house, lovely pool and areas plus an amazing view both days & nights. We did daily trips to eg Lindos, Prasonisi, Kattavia, Limni & Monolithos - all reachable timewise & with car. Amazing food around the corner at Alli Fasi & at Louis in Kattiva. Great stay in the house & easy communication!

Traumhafter Sonnenaufgang

Die Villa Avouri hat einen sensationellen Ausblick auf das Meer, von wo man jeden morgen, einen wunderschönen roten Sonnenaufgang bewundern kann. Mit der tollen Weg Beschreibung von Jenny haben wir die Villa auf anhieb gefunden. BegrĂŒsst wurden wir schon beim aussteigen aus dem Auto, nĂ€mlich von einem rot getigerten Kater. Was wir als Katzen Fans natĂŒrlich sehr toll fanden :). Der Kater gehörte Peggy, die uns freundlich in empfang nahm. Da wir spĂ€t am Abend beim Haus ankamen, waren wir wahnsinnig froh ĂŒber den gefĂŒllten KĂŒhlschrank. Sogar Wein und Kaffee waren vorhanden. Grosses Dankeschön dafĂŒr. Wir waren eine Woche dort und hatten dort eine sehr schöne Zeit. Die Villa hat einfach alles was man braucht. Sie ist sauber und ordentlich. Jenny gab uns noch tolle Tipps auf den Weg wo man gut essen kann und welches die besten StrĂ€nde und Orte auf Rhodos sind. Wir können diese Villa jedem weiterempfehlen!

What a fabulous Villa - one of the best!

My wife and and our two young teen sons had an amazing holiday at Villa Avouri this August; just what we needed after a crazy 18 months due to covid. The villa is beautiful and set in a very peaceful location in the mountains with magnificent views of ocean and is not overlooked. There was also always a gentle breeze perfect for those days spent by the pool. We loved that Villa Avouri had beautiful beaches and very good restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive and that Lindos was so close by. The trip from the airport was very short at 50 minutes and there is a supermarket + watersports at Kalathos beach within a 5 minute drive. More excellent watersports and kids fun can be found within 25 mins at Tsambika beach. The villa was really spacious and immaculately clean with everything we needed to make our stay perfect; nothing was missing nor did we have any issues whatsoever. Thank you Jenny for being such a perfect host, for your great communication and the welcome pack which was a very welcome surprise. We had such a fabulous stay, and we hope to stay again. Unvergesslicher Urlaub

Die Villa Avouri steht an einer wunderbaren, ruhigen Lage am Hang oberhalb von Kalathos. Die Meersicht ist sensationell und den Sonnenaufgang kann man vom Bett aus geniessen. Das Haus ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man braucht. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und wir schĂ€tzten, dass der KĂŒhlschrank gefĂŒllt war, denn wir kamen mit dem Flugzeug aus der Schweiz erst spĂ€t in Rhodos an. Die Vermieterin, Jenny ist sehr unkompliziert und wir schĂ€tzten es sehr, dass wir den Abreisetag noch bis am Abend in der Villa geniessen konnten. Die Aussenanlage, inkl. Pool ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und gepflegt. Einzig die TĂŒre zum Pumpenraum des Pools könnte ersetzt werden, da die Motoren etwas laut waren. Alles in allem war es ein unvergesslicher Urlaub und wir kommen gerne ein anderes Mal wieder. GrĂŒsse aus der Schweiz Gerda & Roland

Wonderful villa in a stunning location.

4 of us stayed for a week at the villa and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Communication with Jenny was great from booking to check out. The villa is well stocked and very clean. It is the outdoor area that makes this villa the perfect holiday retreat. The pool is lovely and the ‘cocktail terrace’, as it became known, at the end has the most stunning views throughout the day but especially for sun downers. It is incredibly quiet and not over looked by other villas. It is the best located villa in Kalathos Heights. We went to Lindos for a couple of meals- worth a visit but walk out of the tourist centre to find better restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the yacht club beach after dinner is definitely worth it. You’ll need a car to get anywhere and there’s a good enough supermarket only 5 mins drive away. We got to know the local taxi drivers well and it’s only 10-15€ to get to Lindos. This is a great villa, wonderful location, has excellent personalised service and by far the best option in the local area.

Jenny was so helpful and adhered to all our needs and was only ever a message away if we needed anything, this made our holiday even more relaxing than we hoped for. The villa was even more beautiful in person, you are not overlooked at all, it is just perfect. Within a week of being there we already looked into coming back next year. Didn't want to leave but we will definitely be back!!

Nice Villa in quiet area with large pool and outstanding beatiful seaview

The villa really lived up to all our expectations. The house, the view, the pool it was all everything we hoped for. The villa is near the beautifull city of Lindos (10 min by car) and there are lots of things to do on the island. We fell in love with the villa and the island and have had one of our best holidays ever here. Thank You Jenny for all!

Really nice villa/pool with very good views across the ocean.

As a family with two older children the Villa was ideal for us. It has a very nice pool area overlooking the sea allowing plenty of sunbathing and cooling off as required. Inside, the villa is very well equipped with contemporary decoration and furnishings. The living area is all open plan so while cooking the family conversation etc. all continued. The two bedrooms are a good size and were beautifully laid up with sheets and towels provided. The shutters and air conditioning meant you got a good night sleep without being woken up by the dawn - however the dawn is worth seeing from the upstairs windows/balconies. A car is definitely needed as there is quite a hill to climb - it is perhaps about one mile down to the road and all the shops. At the bottom of the hill there are a few bars/restaurants and a bakery. We got to know Despina and Nikos pretty well in "On the Road" - definitely worth popping in for a drink and meal. A further two minutes drive towards Lindos is the bigger supermarket in the area - not huge, but covers all bases. Location wise, we found the beachs at Lindos, St Paul's Bay, Charaki, and Agathi suited us best. The beachs of Kalathos and Vlycha were a bit long and open for us, however they are a great place to swim and take a sunbed. We didn't pay for parking anywhere all week, and didn't have any issues finding somewhere to park. We loved Charaki as a beachside town and went to have our last meal before departure at Kostas and Elena's - to be recommended. It has a lovely bay lined with cafes, sun beds and boats. There is no shortage of somewhere to have a drink and meal of all styles within five to ten minutes drive of the villa. Lindos wasn't known to us before we travelled. It really is a top place and worth spending some time in. Apart from being wheelchair bound or with a pram, there is no reason not to go up to the Acropolis - it is not that far up, and if you can't walk or prefer the novelty, there is a fleet of donkeys ready to carry you up to the entrance. In summary, Jenny and her people on the ground will look after you. Ask Jenny any questions before and during travel and she will get back to you. There is a whole group of villas around Villa Avouri - all cleverly laid out so not to be overlooked. We would recommend Villa Avouri for both a good family holiday or for a couple wanting to relax or explore the area for a while. Thanks Jenny, and thanks for the thoughtful welcome pack.
