Stunning villa in a beatiful location within a 10 minute walk into all the amenities offered within the pretty village of Kassiopi.
Our hostess Ruth was outstanding and very approachable. We loved the place. Will highly recommend the billa and will definately return.
Villa Loukas is beautiful place to stay and the view is just stunning. The villa is very spacious with en-suites in every room and everything we needed to make it a perfect stay. As other reviews mention there is a slightly steep climb back up to the villa but it’s only for a very short length and manageable even with all our beach gear!Kassiopi is a perfect place to stay in Corfu, it has a wide range of restaurants and shops, several beaches and a lovely harbour providing boat trips or hires. It’s also a great base for exploring other parts of Corfu for day trips. Ruth was excellent from booking and so lovely to meet in person during our holiday. We would definitely recommend Villa Loukas!
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The villa is fantastic – beautifully kept, with a stunning pool area and a brilliant location. Ruth is a genuinely lovely host, and Kassiopi itself is a real gem – Traditional enough without feeling too "Brits abroad."We can’t recommend hiring a boat from Ruth’s husband highly enough. Cruising the coast, swimming in crystal-clear water, and lunching at our favourite taverna, Nikolas – which you can reach by boat – made for a perfect day.It was our first visit to Corfu, but definitely not our last – and when we return, we’ll 100% stay in Ruth’s villa again. And of course, we have to mention the view – absolutely breathtaking. Whether you're sipping sundowners on the terrace or enjoying a morning swim, it’s well worth the short, steep walk back up the hill that is mentioned in the other reviews.

We have just returned from our holiday in Villa Loukas overlooking the beautiful fishing village of Kassiopi. The villa is set high on a hill with the most spectacular views. The easy walk down to the village is only around 5 minutes and there you find plenty of good restaurants, bars and shops. The walk back up is also easy apart from the last 40m, which is on a very steep incline but worth every step for the views and breeze at the top.
Ruth is a fabulous host and is very responsive to any questions you have. We were greeted with a generous hamper of goodies, which was very welcome on our arrival and appreciated.
The villa is very comfortable and has all the amenities you might hope to find.
We would certainly be looking to return and would recommend to others.
Villa Loukas is a must if you venture to this beautiful part of Corfu. Ruth is the most gracious host who truly cares about your experience, we loved every moment and it was made all the more special because of where we stayed. The Villa is well looked after by Jen & Billie, very spacious and tastefully and traditionally decorated. With 3 large double rooms and a sofa bed in the lounge you could easily sleep eight but it sleeps six very comfortably. The pool is large and warm with sweeping views across Kassiopi bay and on to the nearby hills and mountains, it is such a picturesque location. Air conditioning is provided in all main rooms making it comfortable even on the hottest days. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed, the BBQ was also great and worked well (despite the Chef). The Villa is special, we were so happy to have stayed and would definitely stay again.
Kassiopi has everything you need, restaurants of good variety and of excellent quality catering for all tastes and wallets, shopping that is either walkable or driveable which ever is your preference (note the hill up to the Villa is steep, we enjoyed the exercise but others may not).
All things considered a wonderful stay at a very lovely Villa. Thank you Ruth.
I stayed here with 4 adults and 2 children and we absolutely loved it. The villa is beautiful with wonderful views of the hills around Kassiopi. Great location and you can walk down to the Marina with its big selection of restaurants and bars. Kassiopi really is a gem with its quaint tavernas and many sitting on the water front. Barbatia beach is a must with the lovely beach bar/ Restaurant Castros is one of our favourites.
We hired a boat from Fillipos for the day and visited many bays where we swam and snorkelled and had lunch at a beautiful restaurant in Agios Stefanos.
Agni restaurants are definitely worth a visit too and you can get a free boat from Kalamai bay (where the Durells lived and also a fab place to visit) Which was a wonderful experience!
Although you don't need a car I do recommend one as there is so much to see on the island .
Also I recommend that you book the restaurants in advance to make life easier if you are a big party.
Ruth is a great host very friendly and accommodating and we will certainly be back.

Well-equipped villa in lovely Kassiopi
Villa Loukas was just as described and pictured - a pretty stone house with a nice pool and beautiful views. The only aspect of the location that doesn't really come across in the listing is that the villa is approached up a short but very steep hill - good for burning off baklava calories but not easy walking!
The villa was well equipped throughout and had excellent air-conditioning in all rooms. Everything was kept beautifully clean on a daily basis, inside and out.
Ruth provided wonderful customer service - welcoming and informative when we arrived, and unobtrusively helpful during our stay. When there was a partial electricity cut one evening, it was great to be able to text her straight away to find out what was going on. The welcome hamper was very generous, too.
We found Kassiopi to have just the right blend of character and liveliness - plenty of restaurants and bars but not too manic. We didn't hire a car but went on boats and buses to various places around the north of the island. One useful tip is that the supermarkets will deliver your shopping for free (and you too, if you're lucky) provided you spend 50+ euros, so you don't have to haul heavy bags up that hill.
We had a blissful 2 weeks and would definitely recommend this villa to friends.
