Mediocre Hotel
Sheets from the first room we were assigned had huge greasy looking spots on them. Sent us to another room sheets were worn and ripped. Yogurt at breakfast all expired. Breakfast was mediocre not a buffet. No fruit. Loose Tiles in shower screwed in instead of properly installed. No shelf or place to sit your peronal shampoo or soap in shower. It was just OK. But it could be way better than what it was.

Should have slept in my car...
I booked this location as an overnight before an early flight. The hotel did not have our reservation and despite the Hotels.com customer service rep speaking with him for 30 minutes he would not honor it. The manager was beyond rude. He was belligerent to the Hotels.com rep and he was uniformly rude to other guests who approached during the hour we stood at the desk hoping to resolve the issue. We eventually asked Hotels.com to cancel the room and find an alternate location close to the airport. During a final required attempt to have the reservation honored the manager relented and we were able to stay. He attempted a lengthy explanation of why he was right and Hotels.com was wrong but I was not interested. We still had to allow a $50 hold on our card for "incidentals" which has still not been refunded. The hotel was very marginally maintained. The bathroom in our room was in poor repair - stained wallpaper, sagging shower rod and a large sign listing the price of each item in the room should we elect to steal them. The capstone was the 1:40am fire alarm. This occurred with no effort on the staff's part to communicate to the cold and sleepy guests huddled in the portico that the non-event was finally over. I think I would opt for sleeping in my car at the rest area before considering this hotel ever again.

The hotel was clean and quiet. All the staff was polite and very accommodating. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family if they need a place to stay in the Greenville area. The one disappointing thing was that on the first morning on my stay, there was no apple juice available for breakfast.
