Quaint , relaxing and great food at the restaurant.
We really liked that we could sit back and relax and not have to leave the resort if we didnât want to.
We looked around at numerous properties in Greer and chose this one for its' pet-friendly accommodation. We rented one of the small casitas that face onto the Greer Meadow and its' three stocked, private ponds. The casita was very comfortable, and the rainfall on the metal roof was pure music during the rainstorm that we had our first night there. The property was perfect for walking our dog and just relaxing during the day. The onsite restaurant was a very nice option, and we definitely enjoyed the live music on Friday and Saturday night. The limitation of the casitas is that there is no kitchen or good option for your own food preparation and cleanup. It wasn't a problem for our short stay, but another family might miss the opportunity to save on food expenses. Overall, we really enjoyed the rental and found it to be exactly what we needed for our stay. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful on the few occasions we had questions or needed anything extra. It was a perfect location for us, and we especially appreciated their willingness to accommodate us and our beloved pet.
Canât recommend this place. Not enough info. is provided before booking and there is no refund once booking is done. No one answers a call and no callback is done until after a booking is made. We would not have made a reservation knowing there was no overnight parking available next to the unit. We had to walk from parking lot, down past a barn/restaurant, over a walk-bridge, thru the meadow, over another walk-bridge, past 2 other units to get to our unit. The walk is enjoyable in daylight and no inclement weather; not lit enough for nighttime walking. Weâre stuck in the cabin at night. The amenities list is incomplete and inaccurate. The 2 single beds shown are actually 2 pullout couches and are up in a loft with a steep, thin-step, metal ladder. It needs more heating, the sofa was dirty, the throw blanket had a lot of hairs (long, black & some clustered), and spiders were crawling on it.
