A roaring log-fire with all firewood supplied makes for a cosy winter retreat. There are two bikes supplied that can be used on the nearby Woodside Rail Trail or biking around the picturesque streets of Greytown.
an historic cottage beautifully presented. good heating including an open fire in the living room with lots of firewood! Beds were very comfortable. A modern bathroom and a well supplied kitchen, A large garden with lots of citrus fruit including the largest lemon tree I've seen. I would recommend this home for a warm relaxed break
Our second stay at this charming cottage. Sitting by the fire with a book and a glass of wine. Total relaxation. Attention to details obvious by all the little touches. We just love this cottage.
This is a fabulous cottage. Just perfect for our wee getaway weekend. Great location to the township. Easy to find. Plenty of pots and pans, plates, kitchen utensils and supplies. Lovely fire. Very clean and cosy.
Everything was thoughtfully equipped and prepared. The historic cottage was clean, dry and warm and had that little "extra" which made it truly special. Many thanks to the hosts for a lovely stay. Well worth it.
Lovely property inside and out with detail to gorgeous finishing touches. Spotlessly clean. We were going to go into town for dinner on the Saturday night but didnt want to leave, so had a barbecue under the beautiful pergola. Instead, We are already planning our next stay.
Sweet tidy cottage. Beautiful garden. Ideal for a few days relaxing and catching up with friends. A short walk to shops and cafes.
Very clean & tidy and fabulous comfy beds. Fabulous place to stay!
The most charming bach we have stayed at in the past few years. Absolutely delightful, comfortable, and so full of character. Beautifully decorated. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace in the evenings. Came back to Wellington with lemons and feijoas picked from its garden. Will definitely stay there againđ
Weâve stayed here before and will stay again, perfect for us and our parents to have a couple of family days away together, lovely outdoor area for meals and close to town yet really peaceful plus we can bring our dog which is our reason for booking properties as heâs always on the tour!
Amazing garden to spend your days and evenings in. Away from the hustle and bustle of the main St. The 20 minute walk back is enjoyable... And bikes and car another option.
A great and comfortable accomodation while attending our neices wedding in Featherston. Well equipped and thoughtful additions to ensure an enjoyable weekend.
Thank you. Gary and Val
My family and I stayed here while visiting New Zealand from Alaska. It is a nice little cottage with a beautiful garden full of citrus trees. The wood stove came in handy on a cold night too. I highly recommend this property to other travelers.
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful heritage cottage. A great location to wander up into greytown town centre. The breakfast provisions for first breakfast were delicious and filling. Nespresso coffee and milk frother was a delightful find for my coffee loving husband. Highly recommend.
The cottage and location are perfect for a weekend away from Wellington. Walk to Greytown centre and the rail trail or just relax in the cute cottage with the wood fire burning. The cottage is very clean and tidy (much nicer than any hotels!) and thereâs everything you need.
Will definitely be back.
