Chicken Coop, Cottage, Fishing Lakes Nr Cleethorpes, Adults Only Pet Friendly

Here at Windy Ridge we offer a very comfortable self catering holiday cottage, "The Chicken Coop" is an open plan Studio cottage and has been created by the sympathetic conversion of a traditional old farm building, the cottage is set in 5 acres of grounds, including our own private fishing lakes. Guests are welcome to stroll around the lakes, relax and enjoy their stay. Designed to offer a relaxing break away from the daily grind and are perfect for those seeking to explore the delights of the many attractions of the surrounding local area.
Windy Ridge cottages is an adults only (strictly no kids) site that offers a pleasant setting for a peaceful break. Well behaved dogs are welcome, we do charge ÂŁ25 pet cleaning fee, if you wish to bring a 2nd dog this will need to be approved prior to booking and will incur an additional ÂŁ10 charge.
The property is within easy reach of Cleethorpes with it’s beautiful beaches and amenities.

Lovely cottage and welcoming hosts, enjoyed our two night break but definitely wished we had booked in for longer! Eating breakfast each morning on the patio sharing with the guinea fowl and chickens was definitely a highlight, especially with the fresh eggs available!Sadly we didnt have time to have a go at fishing in the lake but we did enjoy some evening strolls around the land which were lovely.Wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend to friends visiting the area.

The perfect weekend away - will definitely go back!

Myself, my partner Andy and our dog Willow stayed Friday to Sunday at the chickens coop and we had the most relaxing & enjoyable time. Andy enjoyed doing a bit of fishing at the lake, catching a good sized carp, whilst I enjoyed walking around it with the dog. The place itself is just gorgeous, with free roaming chickens etc that you can feed. The stay in the coop was perfect - it was so peaceful and homely. It had everything we needed plus little added touches. Barbara & Luke are both really lovely hosts - very welcoming & helpful. There are beaches not too far a drive away which we visited whilst there as we wanted to take the dog on her first beach visit. A 10/10 stay and we will definitely be booking to go back!

Fantastic welcome and efficiency of booking in, very helpful throughout stay without being intrusive. Chalet was very clean and was excellent laid out for use. Quiet little piece of heaven and gives you the time to relax and recharge. Within commuting distance to any theme desired and the amenities are close to hand.
