Check-in was very quick and efficient with a keylock. Although we were told that we would need to pay a deposit of 300 CHF in cash, we didn't have to in the end.There was a misunderstanding when we arrived and wanted to park in reverse, and the elderly couple living beneath the apartment came rather annoyed, knocking on the window angrily, because they preferred that we park forward-facing. I think this could have been communicated in a much calmer manner, we didn't mean to do any harm, and turned around when we understood what they wanted. The location of the apartment is perfect if you are coming to ski, the Grindelwald Terminal along with the Eiger Express and the MĂ€nnlichenbahn are 2 minutes away on foot. The apartment itself is a bit dated but it offers excellent value for the price, it is spacious with two bedrooms, a living room and multiple terraces, and the kitchen is very well equipped with utensils. One thing that was surprising was the lack of shower gel in the bathroom, I don't even remember when I rented out last an apartment where there was no shower gel.On the last day, the couple living below kindly lended us a snow shovel to free our car as there was heavy snowing during the night.Overall I'm happy to recommend this house to anyone coming to the Jungfrau region. Some reviewers were annoyed with the noise of the main road but I think it is a bit exaggerated, it was nothing severe.
