The staff was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel at home. Check-in was easy and the person that checked us in was very accommodating. The room was outdated and had minor issues, however they tried to fixed the issue immediately.

1. When I arrived at the hotel around 2:30pm I was told I couldn’t check in unless I pay $10 for adults and $5 for children or just wait at the lobby till 3pm for check in. Then reservations for la carte restaurant had to be done at 8pm. When you go to the office to do the reservation for the restaurant the line is pretty long. The best restaurant they had was the Mexican & the Dominican restaurant very good food.The buffet is very small not a lot of food. The quality of the food is not that great. also not enough staff in the buffet. The shows they have are not that great they are very boring.once it’s 2am there’s no water running they shut it off. They should change management, they need to hire more people.the hotel is pretty, but I won’t stay there again.

Pasamos 2 noches. Nos encantó. Era nuestra segunda visita. Todo muy limpio, comida variada, amplias habitaciones y excelente servicio al huésped por todo el personal del Hotel. Aunque marqué mi estadía excelente, aquí algunos detalles que entiendo podrían tomar en cuenta para mejorar: cuando servían el café nunca ponen cucharitas para moverlo, siempre tuve que pedirlas. En el área de buffet no ponen cucharas, no entendí por qué pero no es parte del arreglo de la mesa. Desorganización en el check in, larga espera, llegamos con mucha antelación y completamos los formularios del protocolo mientras llegaban las 3:00 p.m. hora del check in. Nos acercamos y nos dijeron que nos llamarían por los nombres. Espera y más espera. Atendían otras personas que llegaron en ese momento, grupos de personas que no habían sido llamadas y les hacían el check in. Me acerqué de nuevo al front desk y le digo que tenemos rato esperando ser llamados que qué pasaba pues atendían personas que acababan de llega al hotel antes que a nosotros. Así me atendieron. En el check in 3 estrellas solamente. 5 estrellas para las instalaciones y 02 estrellas para el show nocturno, muy pobre. 05 estrellas para las atenciones del personal al huésped

I honestly never complain about anything and I never do reviews for anything however if this review can help at least one person not waste their money then I’m ok with it. I’m Dominican but I live in the U.S and I decided to stay here with my family and spent over 1k for 4 nights which is a decent price for a “good” resort and this resort is FAR from being good. Their food is TERRIBLE, nothing tastes decent. On top of that we saw a cockroach walking around the food in their snack bar by the beach which had burgers, French fries etc (food tastes disgusting by the way and uncooked) . The beach is dirty we even found broken glass in the sand. They have a kids club and both times I tried to go during their alleged open hours it was closed. I honestly would not recommend it at all.

The food was terrible! Bland, cold and the buffet has very limited options. Low quality food. The room we stayed in had such a horrible smell we had to switch rooms. Everything seemed deteriorated and unkept. Burn holes in sheets, toilet seat stained and scratched, pillows deformed and hard. Nightly entertainment was boring and forced. The guests were all locals and this made the stay feel less like somewhere I wanted to be. Apparently the resort has been through several management changes and deteriorates more each year. Lets not forget the constant harassment from elite collection. From the moment you arrive until they finally get you to sit for a 90 minute speech about joining their timeshare “VIP” program. They will wait for you outside your room and pressure you all with the promise of free gifts (beach bag, and T shirts) insisting on being heard taking up time of your precious vacation. The bar has horrible low quality drinks, frozen drinks that never seem to be frozen and mostly flat sodas. All pools had dirty cloudy water. Overall I would not recommend this resort to anyone that wants to have a good time and enjoy good eats. I would not even recommend a day pass. Take your money and go elsewhere!!!

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with certain aspects of the facilities. The cleanliness of the pool did not meet my expectations, and I observed leaks in the rooms of my building. Additionally, the food at the buffet lacked flavor, which was surprising given the culinary reputation of resorts in the Dominican Republic. During check-in, I encountered an issue where the front desk staff insisted that I pay an additional resort fee of $300 ($150 per adult), which was not mentioned on my invoice. When I inquired about this fee, the staff member consulted with a colleague and ultimately informed me that the payment was not necessary. This confusion set a negative tone for my trip. While I did not pay this fee, one member of my group did initially pay it but later received a refund upon realizing that the rest of us had not been charged. Furthermore, I felt somewhat uncomfortable during my stay due to the presence of a significant number of local guests, which created an uneasy atmosphere for my family and friends. While we made the best of our trip and fortunately did not experience any incidents, it still affected our overall comfort. I appreciate your attention to these matters and hope that my feedback will help improve the experience for future guests.
