Highly recommended

This is a small but decent hotel conveniently situated at the riverside right next to the famous scenic hill (象山) and within walking distance to the night market and other tourist attractions like the 'sun and moon' pagodas. Glad to have booked a room on the sixth floor facing the river which has the best view of the hill. The room is clean and comfy with a variety of free drinks apart from bottled water, surprise. A value-added surprise is its provision of a spacious relaxation room with the best view of the scenic hill on the same floor with the supply of free coffee, macaroons, cookies and fresh fruits and very customer-friendly and helpful staff. For those who enjoy some kind of serenity while not sacrificing convenience and suffering from huge crowds, this is surely a hotel for you. If there is any chance of visiting Guilin again, this hotel must be my first consideration.
