Luna-Sea is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath Gulf Front home located DIRECTLY on the beach in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Why settle for a crowded beachfront with condo-mates when you can have your very own stretch of white sand? Say goodbye to sharing your relaxation with 1,000 other vacationers and say hello to your own little slice of relaxation with Luna-Sea.

After a small issue on arrival, which the Property Manager took care of quickly, we had a great time. The house has clean and had all of the cooking items needed. I do agree with other posts that other VBROs give you more starters (more then one roll of toliet paper per bathroom) but besides that great trip.

The home was clean and as described. Great location right on the beach. My only complaint is the amount of “starter supplies” in the unit. A home that says it can sleep 12 people should have more than a single roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and more than a single garbage bag in the kitchen. There was also only a single dishwasher pod and no sponge to hand wash dishes. Only being there for 3 nights and with 6 people (1/2 the number this unit holds) shouldn’t require a trip to the store for basic necessities.

The location is great and is the best part of this property! It can't get much better. It's right on the beach, just over the sand dunes. The home itself is very basic. Just enough updates have been made to push it to "not old". The bathrooms each have 1 small sink--this is hard to see in the pictures. The supplies were minimal....no hand towels, 6-8 washcloths which was fine for 2 people-but with 4 bedrooms, maybe there are sometimes more?1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, 1 dishwasher pod. I reached out 3 days before arrival to inquire about beach chairs or service and did not hear back until our check out date. Overall, it served its purpose and Gulf Shores is a great beach area.

Great location right on the beach. Everything worked like it should. No hassle with check in/out. Host responded quickly when i reached out. Only downside was the beds are very hard. Other than that we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay again.

Overall, we loved our stay! Location was perfect! Our only comment would be that some of the mattresses seemed like they needed to be replaced. Other than that, we enjoyed the house and would definitely stay again.

Loved vacationing at Luna Sea! Very affordable but not really “you get what you pay for” as it was super cute and well kept. Honestly, I think the only “complaints” we would have is the back door know was a little loose which made the door harder to open and I would recommend a little shade over the deck. We did make do with an umbrella as the picnic table did have a hole for one. Would recommend!

Amazing house- best on the beach!

Luna Sea was perfect- there was a little sand area right off the back staircase for the kids to play. There were a lot of leftover beach toys, including a small kiddie pool, an umbrella and a few beach chairs (we did not use them- not sure the condition). We used the grill a few nights and sat on the back porch every morning and evening (plenty of seating). There was a Keurig and regular coffee pot, plenty of pots and 2 sheet pans and all of the regular dishes you would need. The house was very accommodating and comfortable for the 11 of us (6 adults, 5 kids). The AC worked GREAT, and the hot water and water pressure did not disappoint. We were 1/2 mile from a little grocery, ice cream shop and seafood restaurant (as well as a fresh Seafood order-to-go place *S&S Seafood*). We could not have chosen a better beach house to stay in for the week. We will check for availability at this house when we visit again!

Great location.

Great location right on the beach not right in the middle of everything but close enough to all attractions. Just as described house is stocked with 'starter' basic supplies. Bring your paper towels, TP, and dish soap. Not complaining just explaining. Beds are comfy. View from inside and outside house is phenomenal!

Overall it was a great week! This is the first time we stayed in a house and we loved the quietness, direct access to the beach, the parking, it was pretty clean upon arrival. The bedding was not and Blake took care of that the following day. The house is older and needs some updates for sure. Needs a table with an umbrella since the porch is not covered, lights going upstairs on the side and back the lights do not work, makes it dangerous. The cooking pans were not very good.( everything sticks) the bunk beds are very wobbly, furniture on porch needs replaced
 it’s wobbly and worn and very uncomfortable. I felt we paid a big price and would have liked it to have been in a little better shape as far as things being updated. Also need to leave more wash clothes We barely had enough for everyone to shower each day. We had to make sure we washed them before the next shower, no extras at all! But overall we had a great week, felt safe and enjoyed staying in the house!

Basic - But Beachy!

We took a last minute trip with some of our kids and it was great to have the beach literally steps away. It could use some updates to the mattresses but there was more than enough room for us and we enjoyed our stay.
