Beach Cottage - Amazing Beach Location! Walk to the beach!

This is a classic beach cottage at it's best! Enjoy a relaxing vacation in this quaint cottage close to everything Gulf Shores has to offer. Located in the heart of Gulf Shores in close proximity to the popular Hangout and newly improved Gulf Place. Public beach access is a short, easy walk - about a block away across the street (light and crosswalk). Restaurants, ice cream shops, mini golf, shopping, and other Gulf Shores attractions located just blocks away. Gulf State Park Fishing Pier 1 mile away. The cottage is 2 bedroom/1 bath and accommodates 4 guests. Fully equipped kitchen. Outdoor grill. Washer and Dryer. 2 smart tv's. There is a beach market across the street for last minute items. Pets considered (up to 2 dogs) with owner's prior approval and fee.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

* Free guest parking - room to park 2 vehicles on site.
* Amenities include: free Wi-Fi, 2 smart tv's (no cable), outdoor deck, charcoal grill.
* Linens come furnished, but please bring your own beach towels.
* Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, one trash bag per trash can, one roll paper towels/toilet paper, and travel-sized soaps in bathroom.

THE HOUSE WAS CLEAN. WASIN A GREAT SPOT NOT TOO FAR FROM THE BEACH. ONLY BAD THING WAS IT HAD NO DISHWASHER. THE BEDS WERE FULL SAUCE. BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS GOOD.

Gulf Shore 2025 vacation

I want to start with the positive first, the location is perfect with short walk to the beach. The property is very small maybe 400-500 sq ft but served the purpose we were looking for. However it wasn’t disclosed to us construction next door so workers present all day running saws etcThe house is run down on inside and bathroom was in need of repair and updates, shower head was old and clogged, very poor water pressure, gaps in caulk, floor tiles look dirty, and baseboards not cleaned in a while.The fridge was stained and dirty looking on door and handles.Also we were there for 5 days and 1 trash bag and no replacement, also 1 roll of tissue in bathroom, I have never stayed at a vrbo where I needed to pack trash bags and bring toilet tissue. If this was necessary then should be added to description on rental.Hopefully this review prompts updates where needed.

When we first got to the beach house, we thought, well this is small, its going to be a tight fit. We had 2 adults, a 17 year old boy, a 13 year old girl, and a 11 year old boy. We brought an air mattress, but the couch was comfortable enough for my daughter to fall asleep on it most night & we stayed 6 days. While it was a snug fit, it was EXTREMELY accommodating. It is supposed to fit 4 adults & we squeezed 5 people VERY comfortably. First off, the house was very clean. Showers, sinks, toilets, rooms, EVERYTHING. Next, the accommodations were excellent. Everything you need. Bed linens, pillows, cups, plates and plenty pots & pans. It has a very good washer & drier and 2 TV's. Great WiFi connection. The location was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. I'm disabled and require a moterized wheelchair when walking anywhere farther than a few room lengths away. We were SO A close to the beach that I could have walked if I needed with a walker. The location is centered in the heart of the popular stores, restaurants, & all the recreational activities. The farthest we beeded to travel was for a dolphin cruise & it took 15 mins max to reach the Marina for orange beach & that was as far as we needed to go. Everything else was literally, walk out the door & stroll on foot, or bike to where youd like to go. There is a picnic table on the back deck for eating/grilling & plenty of chairs for relaxing.Amazing, clean, beautiful house & PRIME location. I HIGHLY recommend.

Cozy stay overall

The house was perfect for the two of us, who came to do an overnight job in the area. The only issues were that we ran out of trash bags during our ostay and in the daytime, we had trouble sleeping due to the active construction going on next door. However, it’s close to the beach and all the stores you’ll need are within walking distance.
