Lost Dunes is a newer beach community that features 2 outdoor pools and public beach access just right across the street. The location is perfect too, as you are minutes from all the favorite local restaurants and entertainment options. The open and spacious floor plan sleeps 13, so there is plenty of room for your family and guests. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom, the kitchen has everything you need to cook meals, there are flat screen smart tv's in each bedroom, and there is parking for 2 vehicles underneath the cottage. My experience at Coastal beach cottage

Overall, I loved the accessibility, parking and convenience of location. Sleeping quarters and bathrooms were excellent. Living room could be made more comfortable with ottoman or recliners.

Excellent Place

This was our 2nd stay at the Coastal Beach Cottage. We had 6 adults and 6 littles. A perfect location and a wonderful cottage. Heather is great to work with and we will definitely choose to stay here again!

Beautiful condo

This home held our large group of teens and adults. We enjoyed all being able to eat together in the well equipped kitchen. The proximity to the beach is fantastic. We appreciated all of the bedrooms having their own bathrooms.

The Perfect Place

This was a beautiful place to stay with our adult children and grandkids. Nine of us were able to sleep very comfortably. Every room has an adjoining bathroom as well, so we never felt like we were crowded or inconvenienced by a lack of accommodations. Ideal location for quick beach access. Would definitely stay here again.

The property and the experience was very good. The host was top notch. No complaints. FYI...the door to the rear balcony won't stay shut unless the deadbolt is thrown. The remotes for the ceiling fans are not paired with the fans. The living room TV remote needs new batteries. Again, we were very happy with the property and the host. Steve C.

Had the best time with my family in this beautiful cottage! Quiet and just a short walk across the street to the beach! Heather was amazing with communicating and even went the extra mile to mail me my AirPods that were left behind. 10/10 overall experience!

The property was comfortable and well maintained. There was plenty of room for our 2 families and all of the amenities we were looking for. The kids loved the pools and you can't get better beach access for an off beach location. The host was friendly and responsive. We would stay here again.

Great home, even more amazing location!!

My friends/family and I try to take a “welcome to summer” trip every year. We chose Gulf Shores this year and landed on this property. This property was perfect for our little families. The owner was very responsive. We arrived a little earlier than expected and had no issues getting into the unit. The unit was very clean and exactly as pictured. The location couldn’t be any better, unless we were literally sitting in the middle of the gulf! We were a short 3-5 minute walk to the beach, down the street from Walmart for all of the random things we forgot to bring, and super close to some really great restaurants. The only issue we had, which really was an issue, we just weren’t accustomed to it. The house shook a bit with the winds blowing. It stormed off and on while we were there, so we assumed the minor shakes were because the house was on stilts. A bit scary, but not unbearable lol. Nevertheless, the unit was really great. We would definitely choose it again!

Amazing

The house was absolutely beautiful. The location was perfect. There were 13 of us. 8 adults and 5 kids. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The washer and dryer is really big and that helps when you need to do towels and such. The house is well insulated. We didn’t want to use the fold out couch for my 2 grandsons so we brought blow up mattresses. There is a lot of floor room in the bedroom that has the bunk beds. Heather was amazing to work with. She always got right back to me. The pool was good, but we spent more time at the beach which is a 5 min walk. There are no beach towels so we brought our own. There is no grill and that is the only thing we missed. Apparently the association does not allow them. We would definitely stay there again!!!

Safe and easy

This is the closest to the beach you can get without actually being on the beach! We felt so safe I don’t think we ever locked the door. We left all of our beach stuff by our vehicle and didn’t worry. And the bonus was the few steps to the beach. Beach patrol is serious about canopies on the line in the back but super nice about it and very friendly! We brought lots of chairs, toys, etc and had no problem getting back and forth.
