This freshly updated coastal retreat is located in a peaceful Gulf Shores community and is just minutes from restaurants, shopping, and attractions.

Little Lagoon is a 2-bedroom, 3-bathroom coastal cottage spread across three levels, comfortably sleeping up to 8 guests. It's freshly updated with colorful coastal decor, comfortable furniture, and everything you need for a full week at the beach.

The fully stocked kitchen handles real meals: full-size electric range and oven, dishwasher, full cookware, coffee maker, blender, dishes, and silverware. Fast WiFi throughout, and there is a laptop-friendly spot at the dining table if you need to check in with work. The open-concept main floor keeps the living room, kitchen, bunk area, and dining space connected so the group stays together even when everyone's doing different things.

A heads up for families: there are two flights of stairs in this home. Retractable safety gates are installed on each floor — great for kids and dogs.

- King suite: private ensuite bathroom, luxury bedding, balcony access
- Queen suite: private bathroom, comfortable linens
- Bunk beds: on the main floor near the living and kitchen area, ideal for kids or teens

OUTDOOR LIVING

Two private balconies — one upstairs off the king & queen suites, one off the main living area. Both balconies face east along the island, looking toward the neighboring unit. The lagoon is to your left and the Gulf is to your right — lean out and you catch both. It's the kind of balcony you actually use — morning coffee, evening drinks, watching the sky change colors.

Down at carport level, the outdoor seating area is where the group tends to land after the beach. Colorful Adirondack chairs, a cornhole set, and shaded space to decompress before dinner. It's casual, comfortable, and gets used every single day.

PET-FRIENDLY

Dogs are welcome at Little Lagoon with prior approval. The location is genuinely good for dogs — the community is quiet, the boardwalk walk to the lagoon is easy, and the beach is right across the road. Let us know you're bringing a dog when you book so we can confirm approval and add the pet fee.

BEACH GEAR PROVIDED

We provide everything you need to haul gear to the beach and back:
- Beach chairs and umbrella
- Beach buggy with oversized tires
- Beach toys

Everything is stored in the carport area closet— grab it on your way out.

PARKING

The community requires a $25 parking pass per vehicle. Passes must be filled out with your vehicle information and displayed on your dashboard — just hanging it in the window without filling it out will get you a violation notice. We provide one pass per vehicle, up to 2 vehicles. Let us know how many you'll need when you arrive.

Contactless check-in. Your personalized door code arrives 3 days before arrival. Check-in at 4:00 PM, checkout at 10:00 AM.

Zach manages this property on behalf of the owners and is responsive through the app for anything that comes up during your stay.

STAIRS

This home has two full flights of stairs across three levels. It is not suitable for guests with significant mobility limitations. Retractable safety gates are installed on every floor — helpful for young kids and dogs.

GRILLS

The community does not permit grills of any kind, including charcoal, gas, and portable. There is no grill at the home and none available on site. The carport level has a shaded outdoor dining and seating area that guests use every evening, and there are several good takeout and dine-in options within a five-minute drive.

BALCONIES

Both balconies face east along the island toward the neighboring unit. The lagoon sits to the left and the Gulf to the right — you can catch both if you lean out. There is no straight-on water view, but the orientation is pleasant and the balconies get used constantly. Morning coffee out here is a guest favorite.

PARKING

Parking passes are required by the HOA — $25 per vehicle per stay, maximum 2 vehicles. You must fill out your vehicle information on the pass and display it on your dashboard. Hanging it without filling it out will result in a violation notice. Let us know how many passes you need when you arrive.

PETS

Dogs are welcome with prior approval. Please let us know you're bringing a dog before booking so we can confirm and add the pet fee. Unauthorized pets will result in additional charges.

NAVIGATION

The property is located at 1932 West Beach Boulevard, Unit E, Gulf Shores, AL 36542. If you have trouble finding it, Google Maps is more reliable than Apple Maps for this address.

AGE REQUIREMENT

The primary guest must be 25 or older and present for the duration of the stay. Reservations made by or for guests under 25 will be canceled without refund.

NOISE AND NEIGHBORS

This is a small, quiet residential community of approximately 14 homes. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be respectful of neighbors. No parties or events.

NO SMOKING

No smoking or vaping inside the home, on the balconies, or in the carport area.

DAMAGE WAIVER

A non-refundable damage waiver is included with your reservation. It covers accidental damage up to a set amount and does not cover negligence, intentional damage, pet damage, or smoking indoors.

Little Lagoon is owned by a local Gulf Shores family and managed by Zach Medlin of The Madison Liv Collection. Zach is responsive through the Vrbo app throughout your stay. This is a small family business — your review genuinely matters to us.
