The Space:

The Resort at Gulf Shores Plantation (building #4) was destroyed in Hurricane Sally and had to be stripped down to the studs. The entire building is brand new and it shows. It's stunningly beautiful.



What's more is that unit #4307 has some added upgrades including shiplap accents, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and smart TVs. You will love this condo with direct views out to the Gulf of Mexico. Unit 4307 is a serene, quaint, and affordable 2 BR/2 BA condominium that is just perfect for a small family, two couples, devoted golfers or a romantic couple getaway. This property is part of a gated family friendly resort that is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico with thousands of feet of private beach frontage and features numerous amenities on site such as heated indoor pool, six outdoor pools, wet and dry saunas just to name a few. Whether you bring your favorite book to read or kite to fly, come enjoy the white sandy beaches and azure waters of the gulf. Families, couples and/or avid golfers will find Gulf Shores Plantation #4307 the perfect spot for a getaway vacation.

 

Our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom, non-smoking condo is brand new (building re-opened in November '22) and decorated with soft beach colors to lure you closer to the beach portrayal that you had in mind. This 3rd floor unit has a beautiful gulf view that can be seen from the living room, master bedroom and balcony. The master bedroom offers a queen size bed with a wall mounted TV. The guest bedroom has a queen bed and smart TV. Both bathrooms have tub/shower combinations. The living room features another smart TV and a queen sleeper. The unit sleeps six comfortably.

 

The kitchen is equipped with all new major appliances, refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster & coffee maker.  Laundry facilities are located on the ground floor for your convenience. Linens are provided with the unit however we recommend that you bring your own beach towels. The dining table accommodates 6 people. 

 

The unit is equipped with free Wi-Fi and is also available throughout the resort. 

 

Gulf Shores Plantation offers many onsite amenities for your fun filled vacation time! With 6 pools located directly on the Gulf, indoor heated pool and hot tub, adult only hot tub, sauna, steam room, exercise room, tennis courts, basketball courts, shuffleboard, horseshoes, and a charcoal grilling area. With all these great amenities located at your vacation destination, why would you need to go any where else? 

 

Nationally ranked world-class Kiva Dunes Golf Course is next door along with their Clubhouse Grille and many other well know courses such as Cotton Creek & The Peninsula are just a short drive away! 

 

Located in and around the Gulf Shores/ Orange Beach area is a variety of seafood and steak restaurants, Waterville Water Park, Miniature Golf, Deep Sea Fishing, and The Track for offsite family enjoyment! Very nice condo. Enjoyed the pickleball and tennis, horseshoes and shuffleboard. The walk to the beach is very convenient since the only people around are just staying at the resort also. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen seemed to have everything you would need.

Property was as listed. Great access to beach and pools which is what we were looking for. Everything was clean and had the essentials for us to cook. Also the beach chairs were a pleasant addition! We would stay here again!

My husband and I brought our 16 month old & it was a perfect place for us!!! The condo was exactly as described & still had that “new” smell to it! We loved the easy access to the beach, and the indoor pool for a nice break from the sun! I can’t wait to book another trip!

A short walk all from the condo to the beach. Clean condo with comfortable beds. Contacted the host two times and they were very prompt in reply a resolution. This condo is out away from town, and is a quite spot, which we loved. 20 minutes from Gulf Shores.

I loved being on fort Morgan! The mosquitos are off the chart tho so bring some Off😁 the property was very clean. The room was great but I thought it was on directly on the beach. We had to walk across the parking lot to get to the beach. It was still very worth it for the price of the room. You could see the water from the balcony but not necessarily the beach. Access to the pools and beach were fantastic tho. The pools were fairly close to each other so you don't have to walk a long way to get from one to the other.

Away from crowds

Basic accommodation at a great price near the beach. Whole area is condos - not really any public beach access so keeps it much less crowded than public areas in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach. Just spread out and social distancing was easy. The draw back is all the shops and most restaurants are 25-35 minutes away. Great place to get away. Outdoor pool water is too warm (little or no shade at the pools). Internet was up and down a lot. Otherwise loved it. Description of the unit and what they do and do not provide was accurate (though why not at least provide basics.. toilet paper, salt/pepper, coffee /tea/sugar)? Again though I knew most of it from the description.

Condo was nice with plenty of room for our family of 6 (Parents + 2 teens + 2 under 10). Sofa bed was not great but the kids slept there just fine. Short walk across parking lot to beach boardwalk. Would stay here again.

Nice place, like it. But My #1 thing is for the price of the stay, to have to pay to wash & dry your cloths is observed!! So I definitely did not like that at all. Also all my other stay required loading and starting the dishwasher, not washing , drying and putting away. As is ask for y’all. Other places I’ve stayed in for less, has these without extra cost. Also The bedroom by the kitchen could use a curtain on the window so to block out the outdoor light for those that would like to. Just feel like we pay a lot of money...and was a little disappointed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband, teenage son and I were thrilled with this unit! Having two full baths was so worth it to us! I am very sensitive to decor, colors, cleanliness and the overall "feel" of the place. This place gets high marks from me on each of these aspects! The kitchen was more than well stocked with every cooking utensil you could imagine, including baskets to lay out and organize snacks. As a bonus, a small utility closet by the entrance even had beach toys and 2 beach chairs for use (at least at the time we stayed). I like to keep up with the sand, and they even had a broom and vacuum in that closet for use! Most of all, Gulf Shores Plantation Resort overall is a CLEAN family-friendly beach, even with "quiet hours" after 10pm. So if you want to truly rest away from the crowds and the noise of tourist areas, this is the place to do it! One last bonus that speaks so highly of this resort. We were due to visit when Hurricane Nathan came through. They worked with all guests coming in at that time, allowing us to reschedule in the same month, so we did and were not affected by the hurricane one bit! We were so pleased and will be coming back the next time we head to the beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is starting to show some age. The dishwasher and a towel rack were broken when we got there. After emailing the company, a repairman was out and fixed both the next day. There was a dead rat in the landscaping outside the unit, but fortunately that was the only sign of rodents. The unit was very clean, with the exception of the pullout couch. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned under there in a while. The best part of the stay was the beach. It was absolutely perfect. Just a short walk across the parking lot, and you're at a perfect sandy beach. The pools were great too. My kids (6 and 4) loved the big pool because half of it was only 1-2 feet deep. The indoor pool was very nice too. Overall, we were satisfied with the stay. Our main goal for the trip was the beach, and you can't top this beach!

Location is about a 10-15 min drive from the main drag but that was a huge plus for us as we don't care for all the noise. Room was a little dated but was clean and in very good shape. Pool, hot tub and beaches were all very nice and not as crowded as other places I've been. I plan on trying to stay here next year but maybe for a whole week next time. Check in and check out online and via text was a breeze.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Arrived around 3pm and drove up to the guard shack gave them the prefilled out sheet that was in the packet and that was it. He told how to get to our room, gave us a parking pass and we were in. The room was nice it had a few small maintenance items that I reported and they assured me it would be noted.
