Kid-Friendly Beach Front Condo with Kiddie Pool, Hot Tub, Great location !

Please not the elevators are being modernized. This means that from 10/13/25 until 4/30/25 only one elevator will be working. The perfect beach getaway! If you are looking for comfort and relaxation, look no further. The Seawind condo was built in 2006, and it is located half a mile east of Hwy 59. It is conveniently located across from a market, Waffle House, and walking distance to Hooters, The Hang Out, The Pancake House, Sea N Suds, and several souvenir shops.

The complex has a heated indoor/outdoor pool with a hot tub, zero entry kiddie pool with fountains, and the pool area is surrounded with lounge chairs. Seawind boast a large state of art fitness center with a beach view, and a sauna. The complex provides high speed WiFi, cable TV, on site management, and security.

All the furniture and decor is new. The kitchen is fully equipped and has new stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. The living room has a new large comfortable sofa sleeper (queen), and a 37 inch flat screen TV. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a new Sealy posturepedic ultra plush pillow top mattress, a 32 inch flat screen TV , and a walk-in closet. The guest bedroom has a King size bed with a new Sealy Posturepedic pillow top mattress, a 32 inch flat screen TV, and tastefully decorated. The third room is perfect for kids or adults, it is furnished with queen bed and a 24 inch flat screen TV. The balcony is accessible from the master bedroom and the living room. It has two chaise lounge chairs and a high top table and chairs so you can dine out on the balcony if you choose. We accept all major credit cards through paypal.

Condo is right on the beach and the beds were comfy. Kitchen had very worn cookware, TVs were small, the bathrooms lacked essentials like shampoo and soap. It didn’t have all of the beach essentials, except boogie boards and sand toys. There were no cleaning supplies, dish soap or a sponge. For our week long stay, we had 2 garbage bags, 2 dishwasher pods, 2 laundry soap pods, 1 roll of paper towels, and no cleaning supplies. 1 parking pass. There was also an excessive amount of dust on the wall decor and the bed frames. After removing the pillow cases on our day of checkout, we discovered that a few of the pillows were really yellow and old. Overall, it was okay. For the price we paid, I was hoping for a little better accommodations. The owner is communicative and responsive.

Amazing View

We definitely enjoyed the view. Very clean other than one of the cupboards should have been wiped out and the master bedroom the bedframe you could see a lot of debri. It was easy to get in contact with the host. We had everything that we pretty much needed. It did take us a few days to figure out where the regular pool was. The elevator system is terrible. Only two elevators to accommodate how many floors. We waited 20 minutes one time for the elevator. Over all I would stay there again.

Great Condo with Splash Pad and Pool!

Great 3 bedroom condo with a view of the beach and awesome indoor and outdoor pool with a splash pad. That was a life saver because our toddler did not like the sand plus there were a lot of jellyfish when we visited!

Some Reasons beyond Owner control

Good:Owner communication was greatProperty was as described Negative:1. There are only two elevators that support the entire complex, HUGE issue especially during peak season. Long wait times and one elevator was having to be “reset” multiple times making there only one working elevator to support a large complex 2. We stayed 4 nights, 2 of which the splash area fountains were not working - they also had the indoor pool closed multiple times, making the kids splash area packed with adults &teens, making it too crowded for little ones to swim3. One parking pass provided for a condo that can hold 8 expect to pay 50 per extra pass, apparently this is owner discretion as some units offer more than one pass with your stay (this owner provides only one)4. We had to empty the dishwasher upon arrival, some utensils had food caked on them still and we had to rewash everything to ensure cleanliness 5. There were several mini issues: TP role holder barely hooked to the wall, loose knobs in bathroom, several broken fridge drawers, and there was safety issue regarding open pipes in the bathroom (reported but maintenance apparently can only come during lunch/nap hours). I realize some of these items are minor, however when you spend a great deal of money to stay somewhere nice and told check in is at 4:00, I should expect it to be ‘ready’ to enjoyOverall, I wont be booking another stay at Seawind. No poor reflection of this owner but on the property frustrations as a whole.

We loved our stay for spring break! The location was ideal and the pool and kiddie pool were perfect for our children. Condo was clean and comfortable. An easy walk to The Hangout, Sea n Suds, souvenir shops, ice cream, and more. We would absolutely stay here again!
