May 30- June 6 Open! Pools, Tennis, Great Views!
Highlights
Abracadabra checks all the boxes. This newer (2018) home accommodates large groups, is pet friendly and has easy access to the beach, both pools and tennis/pickleball courts. Oh wait, we forgot to mention the spectacular views! This 6 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom home has both upper and lower decks and the beach access boardwalk is, literally, at the base of the driveway. LVP flooring, stainless appliances and quartz countertops means you'll be vacationing in style. Extras include an ice maker and a beverage fridge, both very important for a successful beach vacation! Pro Tip: Take the boardwalk and go right to the beach and left for the fastest route to both pools and tennis/pickleball courts.
The Space
This professionally decorated home features an open floor plan, full kitchen and it sleeps up to 22 guests. The kitchen has gorgeous quartz counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar that seats 5.
You'll find a king bedroom with private bath and balcony access located on the main level. This beautifully decorated room features amazing views, even from the bed! You can actually wake up to the sight of the sun rising over the gulf! The master bath is complete with a modern, freestanding tub, separate shower and private water closet as well as a convenient double vanity. There is also an oversized laundry room on this level so you can store larger items, like coolers, out of the main traffic path.
On the upper level you'll discover three king rooms, a room with two full over full bunks, and a second bunk room with full over full and twin over twin bunks. All bedrooms can easily access the upper-level balcony.

Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Fort Morgan and Morgantown
Morgantown is a lovely, unique seaside community featuring two swimming pools, a kiddie pool, two lighted tennis/pickleball courts and several beach access boardwalks. When you first arrive, you'll notice pride of ownership in this pastel colored, beautifully landscape neighborhood. Guests really enjoy walking and biking along the quiet streets and many rent golf carts and enjoy sunset drives. If you have small children or just prefer the convenience of parking close to the beach, there is a public lot just to the west of Morgantown.
Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.
Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.
Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis.
Would definitely stay again. Easy to get to beach. Tons of space for everyone. My only recommendation would be to have a rug in the foyer to catch some of the sand and at the kitchen sink.
Home has beautiful view of Gulf, easy access to beach, and very comfortable. Ice maker and beverage cooler add to the ease of a great family beach house.
The house appears at a first glance to be exactly how it is listed online but once looking around the rooms there were so many sanitary issues. For starters there was a red stain on the sheets of one of the king beds. In the master bedroom there was hair and sand in the bed. The shower mat was molded, the trashcan was broken and had to reach inside to open it. The back to the remotes were missing, there were very few towels and they were dirty. We contacted the property manager and they simply sent a hostile cleaning crew out the following day after we had spent the entire first day of our trip cleaning and laundering the house. The cleaning crew came to the house the first time looked around and did nothing. They eventually came back after we had to respond again that nothing was handled. They then dropped off sheets and towels. None of the other issues were fixed or addressed the rest of the week. My family and I take one trip a year together, we work really hard and take time out of our lives to get together for this week and it was a shame the condition the house was in and the response received. I have waited to leave this review due to the fact that I know it will affect the bookings but I would hate for another family to arrive to the same issues.
This home is perfect for a large group with small children. The beach access is in the front of the home and it takes less than five minutes to get there. The home was clean and beautifully decorated. The master bedroom is large with a very comfortable mattress. Our family of 18 had a great week and I highly recommend this property for your next vacation.
We loved the house and it location close to the beach! Spacious with comfortable beds. The hot water pressure was great for 13-14 people! A/C worked well. Dishwasher made for very hot clean utensils and plates. The video gamers were able to hook up Nintendo Switch to the TV. We would stay there again!
This was a family trip with adult children and grandchildren.
Everything about the place met our needs. The distance to the beach and pool was perfect. Dee Dee, the property manager was very responsive. We would definitely stay at this location for another family trip.
I'm the youngest of 4 girls and we had planned to start doing sister trips since we were getting older. Unfortunately my 2nd to oldest sister (Rose) died in Jan 2022. The remaining 3 decided we would continue with the plan and included Rose's daughters and another niece who mom had died a week after Rose. That April 2022 trip consisted of 8 of us and allowed time for these young women to exhale, as they had been thru a lot in the 3 months before. We decided then this would be an annual trip and we would include more of the women (sisters, daughters, nieces and in-laws, in our family for the next trip. This year (2023) we had 22 women ranging from 18 to 80 in our group and we LOVED it!!! Our beach house was perfect for this group and the atmosphere was breath taking. We share memories, we shared experiences and discussed topics women tend to not want to talk about. My daughter and 2 granddaughters were on this trip and they can't wait for the next one. The space was perfect and the house was so relaxing (wished we had a day or 2 longer stay). Only thing different about the stay would be they provide more toiletries for groups of this size. While we did bring our own, it was 30 minutes at least to the nearest Walmart. It was unusually cool for the time of year, so we didn't enjoy the water as much but other than that, this was a great trip.
We loved our week in Abracadabra. The home was beautiful with wonderful porches for watching the waves, as well as the colors of Fort Morgan sunrises and sunsets. With the beach boardwalk just out the front door, the location couldnât have been better.
