Sandpiper is a low density three story complex. Its unique V shape building and shared common area walkway in front of each condo lends to a friendly get to know your neighbor atmosphere. Family reunions, large groups of people traveling together and individual families choose this property often. The tropical courtyard, seasonally-heated swimming pool (The pool is generally heated from March 1 to November 30, weather permitting) and grilling areas give Sandpiper an ambiance all its own. It is a highly requested property and has the most repeat guests.

Great Condo
This condo is exactly as advertised. Loved how easy it was to get to the pool and the beach. Check in was easy and we had no issues that required contacting the management otherwise. Condo unit was quiet even though the complex was full of guests. Only con was that there is very little beachfront in this area so that made the beach seem more crowded. Definitely a great place to stay if you want to be in the middle of it all as it was just a few blocks from hwy 59 intersection.

Nice but a little worn and outdated
This property is ok but not worth what we paid for a week’s stay. The location is good and the complex itself is older but nice. We didn’t use the pool much but it was clean. There were times it was crowded but it was never crazy. The condo itself could use some TLC. The kitchen chairs are upholstered and they are stained. The quilts on the beds are also stained which made me feel like things were not clean. We found a broom with no dustpan so sweeping up the sand was tough. The showers both had black mold growing in them. I called the management company on Sunday to let them know and they came to clean it on Thursday morning. The drain in the master bathtub was also full of hair and nastiness - again, cleaned in Thursday. If you rent this unit, bring your own hairdryer and kitchen towels/washcloths as they are not provided. On a positive note, the beds were really comfortable, even the sofa bed in the family room.
